This was a great way to introduce my 6 year old to the Pokemon series and the co-op play along feature helps a lot when trying to guide them through some of the more challenging portions.

The Eevee-themed Switch reboot of Pokemon Yellow! The game improves on the Yellow formula with the view of wild pokemon in the top-down views, and Eevee is adorable as usual!

Random battles are replaced with Pokemon appearing in the over-world with Pokemon GO style encounters. It can be frustrating at times but overall it's pretty enjoyable. Shiny hunting is much more straightforward than previous games and it can get quite addicting. Catching Pokemon is worth significant exp and you might find you're over-leveled for random battles and gyms if you spend a good amount of time catching. Overall the game isn't very challenging and there's not a whole lot to do after clearing the story. There are some "challenges" at the end but they aren't too hard. Shiny hunting gets a little easier though, and that it worth a lot of additional game time.

Great game! Reminds me of the original Pokémon games but with a little twist. The catch screen was kind of hard at first but it’s easy to get used to

This Pokemon Switch game is just amazing. Even when you beat the game there is still more to do as there is more built in. If you are thinking about getting it I would suggest getting it.

Hello Eve

Hello Eve and Hello Pikachu are remakes of an old game called Pokemon Yellow which was released in the late 90s.
This time, however, the developer Gamefreak decided to change the formula of the game as it takes many gameplay aspects of the famous mobile game for smartphones called POKEMON GO.
Even though many die hard fans of Pokemon were angry with the changes they made (you don't battle wild Pokemon, but only trainers), when the game came out and people started to play it, it became obvious the changes were a good choice.
This is the perfect 1st Pokemon game to initiate yourself on the franchise. Try it and remember to not leave your social life.

It is so much fun and if you have already played Pokemon Yellow (or maybe Red/Blue/Green) back in the day, it has a lot of nostalgic places and characters and events that you get to experience in 3D! It does have a lot of stuff shaved off though, but the fun makes up for it and lets you forget all the shaved off parts.

This game is so good, visuals is exactly what wanted back from pokemon XD and Colosseum. A blast from the past but also refreshing in its own way. I would recommend this to my friends.

A great remake of the first generation series

Whither you get Eevee or Pikachu from the let's go series, both will take you back to the first generation games of pokemon red and blue. This updated version follows the same story line as the first generation games of pokemon red and blue, but puts you in the shoes of a different trainer. The updated graphics and somewhat different story line makes the game interesting and fun as you travel the Kato region with Eevee, and capturing new pokemon to add to your team. Even if you have played every pokemon series, this is somewhat different and will bring back alot of good memories. If you are new to the series however, this is a pretty good starting point. Either way, it's definitely a fun game that you will enjoy and get your moneys worth out of. I would recommend checking out a review on YouTube to see gameplay and if it's for you or not if you are uncertain. Definitely a good game though and I do recommend it. Happy adventuring!

Pokemon: Let's Go has exceeded my expectations. It's a delightful retelling of Pokemon Yellow that's quite faithful to the original. I'm having a blast assembling a team and taking on trainers. I would've liked a different art direction, as the graphics are a little bland and plastic-y. Nice game, overall though.

I actually bought both this version and the Pikachu version, but only because I didn't realize that the Pikachu version didn't have my favorite Pokemon in it- Bellsprout. Shut up, it's cute.
Either way, this is like if Pokemon Go was made into a full console release. I have no problem with that and enjoyed it for what it was, but the idea of catching *literally every single Pokemon* is sort of weird to me. I would normally catch one Bellsprout and be done with it, but now you have to catch a million of them to make sure you get one with greats stats- or maybe even a shiny one. You also only get to battle other trainers, not other wild Pokemon. It's different. Some people hate it, some people like it, I'm a bit ambivalent to it.
I liked the game and would recommend it if you have a Switch. You have to use Joy-cons to play the game, so if yours are suffering from drift or if you prefer the pro-controller you're out of luck.

I grew up playing pokémon on the gameboy back in the day when the graphics were 2D & pikachu was fat. I absolutely fell in love with this game on the switch because it made me feel like a kid again. I love that you’re able to ride on your pokémon around the city. This game brings the nostalgic feel of pokémon red, blue & yellow but it’s updates make it even more epic. I struggled to choose between let’s go pikachu & let’s go eevee, but overall i’m happy w my choice! if you’re thinking of getting this game, i highly recommend! it’s everything you would want to feel like a real pokémon trainer traveling around kanto w/ your buddy pokemon!

This game is awesome for beginners and some veterans because of its approachability and level of difficulty. Let's Go Eevee is basically Pokemon Red, Blue. and Yellow remastered in 1080p in addition to tweaking a few core elements such as no more wild battles and the use of Secret Techniques instead of HMs.

A huge step away from classic Pokémon games that bridges the gap between Pokémon Go and a video game. Definitely fun, although much easier than any of the other Pokémon games.

The game appears to be a remake of the original Kanto region Pokemon game, with Pokemon Go elements mixed into it. Integrates with Pokemon Go after you get to the sixth city.

Bought this for my girl who is a huge Pokemon fan, she's enjoyed the heck out of it and it's even gotten her back into playing Pokemon GO because the two link up.
