So far I like my watch ~ it does every thing my first ft60 did ~ got this on sale and added the warranty upgrade due to poor reviews ~ it's definitely worth the $100 sale price spent but I wouldn't pay the full retail. The silicone straps on this watch are way more flimsy than my other polar ft60 and the strap buckle fell off once already ~ I was able to put back together. I like the fact the new transmitter has an easy opening for battery change.

This was a replacement for a monitor that was over five years old. After doing extensive reviews, this was he one I had my "heart" set on. Great product. Great price. Highly recommended.

It´s great for Heart Monitoring, I´ve been using it since I bought it and very precise.

I originally bought the Polar FT7 heart monitor, but exchanged for this model as it was on sale, thus only being about $20 more, yet it does much more. I find it is easier to read as the face is larger, the buttons on the right are much easier to work (and less painful to press) and the model does more. Occasionally I lose the reading when I am on the indoor bike, but otherwise it works well. It was easy to set up and is similar to other Polar heart monitors in how it works. I like seeing the performance at Levels I, II, III and seeing improvement between workouts.

I didn't realize that there was not a phone app with this and that is what my daughter was looking for! It could be a very good product just no experience with it.
