The device works great, but unfortunately the native Polar application doesn't share workout data with other applications.

I love it but then it has its flaws, it's perfect for tracking heart rate but taking the battery out is such a killer, it's terrible I've had to go to several people to help take the back off I've destroyed the back and now geek squad cannot help me. It's a terrible thought out idea. Wish it was screwed instead of "inserting" a coin to twist #fail

This is my second one of this type. The first worked for quite while and then would not stay paired consistently with Polar Watch. I contacted Polar support and they suggested sending in in for repairs. At the time I didn't have a watch with built in HR monitoring so it was important for me not to be without one for several weeks. I noticed Bestbuy was running a sale so I bit the bullet and just purchaed a new one. No problems with this one yet.

So far for spin this tool is awesome. Nice to have a dashboard on my phone for maintaining heart rates zones.

I purchased this sensor because the one I got with my FT7 was no longer responding. I am so happy I made the decision to get it. It works great and syncs to my phone using bluetooth. I don't use the bluetooth function too often but it is nice to know I can track every element of my workout using my phone. :)

The Polar HRM has helped me to get back into shape without jeopardizing my heart's health. It's companion apps have slowed me to monitor and track my workout stats. This has been one of my better purchases as if late.

I bought to use with my iphone and apple watch. I like the polar beat app a lot, but it doesn't feed data into the apple health or activity apps. You can track your heart rate with this monitor through Runkeeper though, which is compatible with the apple apps. If you're not concerned with all that though it's a great little monitor.

I have tried just about all the wrist based heart rate monitors, and while one or two came close to being accurate, they were hard to wear . I LOVE this monitor. Easy to wear, hidden under clothing. I tested it with an old, old strap monitor and it is spot on. And the price is great too. I would definatley recommend this over the wrist based ones.

Much cheaper than a stand alone unit and works with my girlfriends iphone. The only thing is she isnt sure how moist the sensors need to be to work.

Polar really sets the standard for HR monitors and this model works great. Strap is very comfortable and doesn't chafe on long runs/bike rides.

You must have it on in order to sync the Bluetooth to you phone or another device. I use with runkeeper and polar beat app on my Iphone 6 plus.

I run every day. Been using my Apple Watch 2 for my heart rate...it's horribly inaccurate. After getting heartbeat reads over 200 (i.e. very dangerous levels) I invested in this Polar. Turns out, my actual heart rate is 150-170 depending on how fast I'm running. Whew, thanks Polar. I thought I was about to croak according to my AW2.

Gives a good idea on calorie burning zone. whenever I worked out in the orange zone, burnt more calories in the next 48 hours

The heart rate strap is vital in my exercise regiment. The calorie count is more accurate with this strap than one that is attached to other fitness watches. Love it

I'm using it directly paired with my Apple Watch and the Motifit app and it has been excellent. No need to lug around my phone and I get a very accurate heart rate during exercise (wrist is unreliable when active).

Bought this to match with the Polar Loop Activity Tracker. As always, great product from Polar.

I use this heartrate monitor at the gym and it automatically shows up on the gym equpiment. I use it on a matrix treadmill and when you're around 3 feet away from it, it will automatically pick up your heartbeat and then you can track your workouts very easily without having to keep looking down at a watch or something.
