The life span of the heart chest strap is shorter than the watch. You will have to by the strap ($15-$25) and put the Bluetooth back on it and use with your watch. Life span is about 200 hours of workouts.

I love this device! It's a huge aid to my fitness program. When paired with my iPhone I use the Polar app to track workouts and results. It's a necessity for any training regimen.

I love this monitor. Good system to track your heart rate. The only draw back is that it fails to register sometimes. I've noticed this with several in the group. It will just drop to zero a few times during a workout which is obviously wrong.

The heart rate monitor is easy to connect to my phone via bluetooth using the Polar App. Very comfortable, I forget I'm wearing it. I have been using it for a month and the battery is still going strong.

I purchased this heart rate monitor because I knew I wasn't interested in purchasing a watch or other way of reading my heart rate, since I had my phone. It has done just what it says it does!

This bluetooh heart monitor has been OK, but nothing to be a big fan of. It connects easily with most applications on your smartphone and because it is 'smart bluetooth' it has a good battery life. The down side if the heart rate reading can be flaky and not accurate, for whatever reasons I can figure out. Usually you have to disconnect the monitor from the chest strap and reattach it again and it will return to normal. Also, the Polar application that comes with it isn't really that good. So I give it average overall, but if they could fix the 'random' readings that shoot my heart rate up to 180 and then back down to 70 while doing exactly the same thing during the reading, then I would upgrade my rating.

This is the second Polar H7 I have owned, as I lost the first one. It is a great product. I have had multiple heart rate monitors and I prefer the Polar and it's interface app for iPhone.

Very comfortable. You hardly notice it is strapped on you when you are out for a jog or a walk. I even wear it in the office some days to track my HR levels throughout my regular day.

I like this product!!! I use it every workout and it helps me determine if I need to push farther or stay at the same pace for my heart rate to be in the best work out mode for weight loss!!!!

I really like the new fact that the ANT+ dongle is no longer necessary. Strap is very comfortable. Never loses contact. Connectivity distance is much greater than ANT+ as well, probably 50 feet or so.

This is the best heart rate monitor I have found. My watch is several years old, so it lasts a long time. The band has to be replaced every 18 months or so.

Perfect monitor to pair with any polar watch, or even just using the polar beat app. Works great, fits comfortable with the adjustable strap and has great battery life.

I use this with the Polar Beat app on my Samsung S7. I used to train with Polar watch, and run with phone. But now I just train with phone.

I did not have any connectivity issues and my watch picked up the signal pretty quickly. It's very discrete and comfy. I gave it one less star because it is on the pricy side.

This easily pairs with map my ride app. The chest strap is so comfortable you don't even notice it's there.

very comfortable. Much more comfortable than my older model which had more plastic. This model you can actually change the battery which is a huge plus.

It pairs with my phone, works with Wahoo Fitness and other programs I use--so it's OK, but nothing spectacular. This was a replacement for an identical one that died.

Owned many of these over the years - this works well with a broad range of club cardio equipment as well as my iPhone workout app - Map My Ride. We will see how the battery holds up.
