I wanted to protect gimbal and camera but was disappointed by reflections in stock cover. Plus wanted a sunshade to reduce lens flare. This guard fit the bill. Fits securely but is easier to remove/attach than original

Get this if you film in the sun. It makes a difference with your footage capture, kind of like a lens hood for your photo cameras- it is good to have. Easy on, easy off. No worries it stays on during your flight. Be aware that the camera will see it a bit if you are zipping around in sport mode due to the angle of the drone when it transitions.

It is always on my Mavic. Fits good. It does limit top view a little bit.

Does what it says, perfect fit and no more prop reflections in pictures.

There aren't many options to secure your Mavic in use but any added protection is a plus in my book. Next to DJI'S offering this hood camera guard by polar pro is in a class of its own and offers a high level of protection to your investment.

I picked this up for my Mavic to provide some protection of the final unit. It certainly accomplishes this, but the other positive is that you no longer get the reflection off the factory clear bubble gonna cover. This is a good compromise of the 2 options that is low cost, which will also improve the quality of your video or stills. I highly recommend this as it provides some protection in the case of crash, so that you don't destroy the final which is the heart of good quality video.

I'm a big fan of protecting my investment, without making it look like GrandMa's couch. This guard does just that, protects your camera & gimbal.

This sunshade fits great on the Mavic drone. The sunshade keeps most of the glare from the lens but at certain angles, the glare shows up on the lens. In my opinion it is a little too expensive for how it performs. You should save your money and buy a Sharpie and color/fill in the original bubble cover on the sides and top to reduce glare.

It protects the camera and gimbal while you're flying (if it falls down) and reduces sun glare. It fits perfectly and it doesn't obstruct the camera's view.

I use it on my Mavic Pro it fits well, I feel like it’s enough protection for grass, threes or low altitud crashes.

Many of my videos and photos would sometimes have sun glair or the rotor would show up in the picture.

The guard is great at reducing glare. It won’t provide much protection in a crash though as it pops off very easy.

This is a must for extra safety for the drone camera just Incase you bump it this hood will protect it

I bought this to add a little extra protection to the camera/gimbal during flight. Fits great and allows for full camera movement without obstructing views or usage. Just snap it in place before flight and take off. No problems after almost a year of use.

This guard has reduced the glare and the shade from the propellers fairly good. I have only had one small occurrence since having this shade of glare amd it only occurred for a second. Still rating this item at 5 as it has improved the glare greatly from not using it.
