these guards look and feel heavy duty. but the installation is problematic. take some effort. although a screwdriver is not needed. they don't fit perfectly in the 3DR backpack. need to move them around on top of the drone to make them fit. didn't try hitting a wall to see if they survive.

I like to run quad copters with prop guards because when you crash they take the beating saving you from buying a new shell.

the guards hit the blades on the Solo, even tried to adjust them and still having a hitting problem, So just returned them.
