All these 1 star ratings are an indication of poor hobby pilots. Completed a test: Micro UAS: DJI Spark Location: Lake Marion, Lakeville MN Altitude: 250' AGL DJI Go 4: Apple iOS connected with OTG cable Previous Stock Max Distance: 5,500' Extender Distance: 8,500' NOTE: I turned around at 8,500 feet without breaking link. There was a tail wind and I was at 60%. Needed to ensure safe landing at LZ. But at confirmed 3,000' added, that earns 5 stars for doing what it claims. Considerations: 1. The parabolic reflectors makes this a 'point-to-point' antennae. It is no longer omni-directional. Make sure to orient the reflectors in the direction of your UAS. 2. It seems that the Controller Antennas (stock) need to be fully extended. I had poor results when bending them like I usually do. 3. I wish the reflectors folded up nicely for storage, like a clam. Instead, the brackets impede each other. 4. The brackets fit quite snugly on the stock antennae. Be careful, I could easily see breaking the antennae or reflector if you are too forceful. Who should buy this? Those who want to maximize flight distance from your LZ.

This is a good product while flying long distance only, and it does extend the range TBD for ling at this time. CAUTION: as the craft approaches you on its return home, I recommend taking the set off. While the drone is above your head it will not pick up the signal if it’s radiating outward, you will have no control over your craft until you take the set off or point the remote so the extenders are facing upward at the craft above you.

Well they surely looked to be something I needed. But when I first used it I flew to the same shots I have lost single at without it. I still lost singal and it took longer to regain my singal.

Really don’t notice a big jump but it helps a little bit

this was a good idea but in the heat here in florida it heated the glue back up and piece of foil fell off otherwise like it

I purchased a DJI Spark before I purchased the controller. Lots of fun, but if you don't buy this controller, you're only using half of what your drone is capable of. It took a little bit to figure out how to get it connected to the drone at first, but I haven't had any significant problems with it since. It is fairly easy to use and makes for a much better flying experience all around. Better control, faster flight and further distances. Double what you get without the controller in fact. Well built, simple. reliable. If you have a Spark, you really need this controller, otherwise you're just using half of what you initially paid for.

I was only getting 2500-2800 Ft with the remote in 2.4Ghz in my residential neighborhood. After installing the parabolic reflector I found that the 5.8Ghz signal improved about 500 Ft. But the surprise came when I switched my Spark to 2.4Ghz. I was able to fly out to 5776 Ft before I lost signal. I am blown away. You MUST keep the controller pointed in the direction of the drone, if you turn away the signal gets sketchy.

These seem to extend and improve control. I am not able to use the hood I purchased, which also fits over the antennae.

I’m still afraid of taking my drone out long distance it definitely helped improve the range I haven’t maxed it out yet but will definitely let you know once I do

For the price of only 10 dollars cant complain helps out the drone really good

Wish the fit was a little better but the protection it offers is worth it.

I bought these for my DJI Spark, since it is wifi only. I wanted to give myself some added security against dropouts and signal loss, which could cause me to have a bad day. So far they appear to work as far as I can tell, since I have no way of actually measuring how much they improve the signal. That being said they also fit the Mavic controller and I have noticed an improvement in heavily congested wifi areas with that device because I have flown repeated patterns without any video dropout whereas before there were some sketchy areas. They aren't any big deal to install and remove. My only gripe is that they don't fold flat due to the attachment points being in each other's way. I would rather fly with them than without.

Technically should increase the range but I have not been able to fully tested. I seems that creates a direction beam. I decided to have it since I'm planning to fly my drone beyond of normal distance. I would say that for normal "pilot" you don't need it.

These range booster antennas do an OK job. I used them a couple times but not sure whether they increase the performance of the DJI Mavic drones remotes.

It seems to enhance the communication between the controller and drone as described. That said, if you do a lot of long distance flying it may be for you. If you don't fly your drone out of sight, it may not be necessary.

These signal boosters will extend your range significantly. You have to be facing your drone, if not you could lose signal and have a fly away.

Bought this to help eliminate loss of signal when flying long distances on the DJI Mavis pro. Not entirely confident it dramatically helps but there was some small improvement.

Haven’t really seen the range increased much. I don’t use the product often.
