This last December I was in Iceland, Prague and Rome for vacation. I wanted something I could use my GoPro with without having to hold something the whole time. This was awesome. I was able to walk up a Glacier, tour the Colossium, and walk around Prague and capture it all. I would definitely recommend this. I’m going to be using it during my teams basketball games as well to record them.

The StrapMount Backpack Mount is a great accessory that I am using very often.

Camera is secured well, quickly and easily. Nice quick release feature. Would be better with side to side rotation. Otherwise a pretty good solution

Bought this so I could attach my GoPro to the front strap of my backpack. Holds the GoPro very securely. Takes some work to get the right angle. The quick release feature is nice. Only thing that would make it better would be the ability to rotate the the camera once it's attached.

I really liked this mount for the ability to locate easily and move it to different straps. It took a little while to get the camera angle correct once it was mounted as I couldn't see the back of my GoPro very well, so I used my phone to connect to the GoPro to verify the angle. Once I figured to do that, it was a lot easier.

Seems to work ok. Have tested it a bit at home so far. Wish it had more metal, think they could make it a bit smaller had it been metal.

That device makes any strap GoPro ready. I've used it in a backpack strap around chest level to get POV video while walking around. It's minimal, and has a quick release function. Can adjust the tilt of the camera while mounted too, so you can check your settings or captured media on the fly. You can get creative and attach this device to other strap like things - scuba dive gear, boat line... Or even drill holes through something to fit the screws through and make your own (bill of hat, wood planks, whatever. Much more versatile than the GoPro chest mount. Will be great for travelling. Downside is that over time it can rub against your arm from just regular movements. Backpack strap with the clip that goes across your chest could help minimize this issue from pulling the strap away from your arm. Wish the screws for the pack weren't bright blue, I'll experiment with paints to make it less bright.

I tried several different backpack mounts and this one far exceeds the others. It stays securely attached, holds the GoPro securely (I did have to change out the screw). I just leave it on my backpack, however if you want to take it off and on, you can remove one bolt and slide it up, instead of removing both bolts. It would be nice if there was an adapter for the iPhone with this backpack mount.

Pro’s: well made, easy to mount, option to turn gopro in 45 deg. stops when installing camera to mount. Easy cam lock release to remove camera and plate from strap mount. Nice small mount that offers an alternative to the more traditional ways of mounting a go pro on yourself. Cons: Over-all, I had difficulty keeping the go-pro aimed straight ahead. Unlike a chest or head mount, once its locked in place on your pack or bibs strap, you can never get it to point straight ahead as your strap angle to your body is almost never 90 deg. There is no left or right adjustment. Also, pay attention to the angle of the mount vs. your strap. It never slipped on me once set correctly though. Well made product, just didnt meet my needs.

Used for the first time this week and liked it. Easy to use and convenient to be hands free and able to attach to a backpack strap I was wearing anyway (no extra/bulky straps. Only down side is it’s a bit heavy, but I imagine it has to be to support the camera!

I love my mount, its very easy to use. Only complaint is that one screw was messed upand seperated the head and the threaded part after only a few uses. The plastic is hard and durable. A must for any go pro fanatic.

Great for Regular Backpacks. Doesn’t work for Specialty Hiking Backpacks. We purchased it for my son to take on a two week trek through the mountains. His backpack has a padded strap. The strap is to thick for this mount to work properly. I had to strap it on myself with string instead of the screws.

I bought this for the reason it was created and that is to put the gopro on my pack strap. It performed great and really eliminated those shots where my face in the side of the picture. I do with though that in addition to being able to adjust the camera up and down, I was able to adjust it left or right to get a better shot ahead of my. Might not work well with a person with a bigger chest where the camera might be angled outward.

this is my go-to mount for the GoPro. I find I use it more than any other mount that I have. Polarpro customer service is top notch This product came with an extra attachment But I did not have the screws necessary for it to work I contacted Polarpro customer service team and they shipped the screws to me free of charge

This held my GoPro to 3 different backpack straps without a problem. Solid Metal, very sturdy and I never worried about it coming off. I used it for motorcycle rides, swimming in the surf, roller coasters, and the log rides.

Well made . Looks cool easy to remove and put on.i even attached the karma grip extension to this and it worked great .

Throw this on your backpack strap or even a belt and enjoy hands free filming. Used with my Karma Grip when I didn't feel like holding it anymore.

This mount is pretty cool. The only issue I had was if you strap is not pulled tight it points a little off center and high.
