This was a present for my husband and it is very useful when he goes to take pictures at night. He love it.

I have not been impressed with the overall fit and finish of the lamp, but it gets the job done. As might be expected, the battery pack is quite large. Four AA batteries, kind of large. I bought this model because a lot of my other emergency gear runs on AA batteries, and I have a good solar charger. That sort of ties me into that form factor. Sadly, there are not many good AA options, as they headlamps all run on either AAAs or CR123 lithium batteries that cost as much as a mortgage payment. This light does get quite bright, and the focusing ability functions fairly well. However, the LED housing gets very hot, and mind you, is stuck to your forehead. The actual focus dial feels very cheap and doesn't stop at either end of its travel, which makes you feel like you've broken the thing. If you adjust it past either end of the adjustment, you might lose zero and end up thinking, again, you've broken it. I feel like this could have been better designed. I will be using it until I can afford to replace it, at which point it will be left in my garage instead of in my emergency supplies.

I use this at work since I work nights at a utility company. It is much brighter than the ones they supply us. It done use batteries pretty quick if used it a lot. About 2hrs or so. So I use rechargeable ones and keep a couple of sets in the truck. But it is a clear bright light that lets you see colors more vividly. It’s a little heavy but the head band is comfortable so you really don’t notice that much. It’s just nice to have both your hands free to work with. With the battery pack being on the back of your head if you plan on use it laying down on your back where you would rest your head on the ground (like working under a car or something) it can be a little bit uncomfortable.

This light is awesome. It's bright, takes double a batteries which last longer then the ones that take triple A's and the head strap keeps it firmly in place. It's a bit bulky but not too heavy that would cause an issue while wearing. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Purchased 2 of the 1800 lumen tactical flashlights and was so impressed, I had to buy this version. Very satisfied with the practicality of the many uses possible. Great for camping and jogging at night. Best Buy as usual has sold me a quality product at a great price hard to find elsewhere. Kudos once again Best Buy!

So I bought this as a gift for my father, he fixes AC and needed a lamp that he could put on his head, He loves it. Literally, uses it for everything now, lol, he walks the dog, and he's using, he's working on AC, he's using it.

Really bright light. Was just what I was looking for. It does feel a bit cumbersome to initially put on due to large power pack on the back but you end up forgetting this thing is on your head. At least that’s my experience. Weird how it says police on it. Wish there were different colors or hat with built in flashlight variants. But I’m just not picky. I bought a hat with lights off Amazon but have to return that one as the lights were just not as as strong bright and powerful as this one is.

This has to be the brightest and reasonably priced headlamp. It's not heavy when worn. Fits comfortably, easy to adjust and battery installation takes a few seconds removing and securing the rubber battery case. Considering purchasing another soon!

Good bright light. Head strap stays on snug. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was cause I had to return one due to the knob that controls the light adjustment up and down broke. But new one works great and no issues.

Not a complaint more of an observation. The quality seems good lights bright. It just feels heavy with the battery pack size weight and placement. Happy with it just an observation

this is the best head lamp for portable wearable light i have owned. very bright and love the wide angle white light. i can work on my car, in basement, boat. etc... i was using a smaller one till I got this one. can't compare the two. not even close. i also like the battery setup with 4 AA batteries which run strong and lasts a long time. I think it ran 4 hours the first time with the batteries that came with it. i also like the security mode which is a strobe. can't go wrong with this head lamp!

Purchased for my son as a gift. Very helpful when he’s working at night, very bright and somewhat heavy.

Its really a good light! You can cleary see at night. Powerful beam, wide range and intense light. Battery last a long time.

The light is super bright. It gives you a lot of clarity at night. Only issue is that it is really bulky and heavy.

Decent light however it is a little heavy and the focus isn’t reAlly a focus

This head strap worn flashlight gives new meaning to the word Flashlight. I wear it often in the house and if you are really in need of light then this is the right fit. In use outside it just seems to light up the night. Easy to use and good quality material. Surely lives up to the name Police Security. If in need of just the right headlight then this one will impress. This purchase is truly worthwhile.
