Great audio for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife wanted to get rid of another sound system where I had wires surrounding our theater room. So therefore we looked for sound bars and decided that we would try Polk Audio. We have had this for a month now and are very happy with it. The sound and quality of it is very good for the price.

OMG! The surround sound quality is AMAZING!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My cousin turned me onto Polk and sold me on the technology. I needed to get a sound bar to help me with me hearing because my wife and I struggle to hear dialog on the TV. I bought a Bose sound bar suppose to be good for that but it did not work. The Best Buy associate said to get improved dialog I needed to have a sound bar with a center channel. Polk had that and since my cousin had convinced me on the technology I decided to give it a try. Not only do we get excellent dialog but the surround sound makes us feel like we are at a theater when sitting in our family room. AMAZING! How do they do that from a sound bar that is in front of us? Sometimes I feel like someone is upstairs in the house but it is just the sound bar. Crazy good! Oh yes, and super easy to set up and it automatically turns on and off when you us the TV remote. After being disappointed with a Sony and and then a Bose sound bar, I can't rave enough about the Polk! Thank you Cousin Scott for introducing me to Polk and this amazing technology.

Great system for the money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the one we picked the Polk Magnifi Max, after listening to almost all of the sound bars in the Quakertown store. We worked with Nick and he recommended this 3.1 channel system that we had overlooked in the store. It was in a different place than most of the units. We were immediately surprised by the quality of sound out of this unit. We decided almost instantly that this was going to be the one. Got it home, simple hook up, it was up and running in 20 minutes. First movie watched, "Dirty Dancing" of course, my wife's favorite. cranked this unit up pretty far almost full blast, it handled it beautifully! I love the fact that you can adjust the center voice speaker to your liking. This unit has 7 drivers in it, plus the separate 8" down firing sub-woofer. The vertical drivers and the end tweeters really make the sound full and strong. Only less than 24 hours old, but it is a keeper! Sub-woofer sounded better after putting a hard surface under it on top of our carpet.

Excellent sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good sound bar. It gets loud, but it keeps everything clear without any distortion. I enjoy the bass and the fact that you can increase the clarity of the voices of the shows you are watching. It is definitely a home theater experience that I've enjoyed since having.

Better Than Systems 3 Times as Much
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second time I returned a newly purchased soundbar and ended up buying a Polk. I’m just going to start with Polk from now on. For my bedroom I bought the Bose Solo and returned it for the Magnifi Mini. Then, I just had to replace my old JBL soundbar in the living room. I figured I’d stay with JBL as it was always good. Mistake! I bought the JBL 3.1 and it had no midrange. The 10” sub on the JBL tried to compensate by screaming alongside the highs, but it just made it worse. I went to the store, and bought the Magnifi Max. It sounds amazing. Honestly, better than the 1200$ setup I was looking at in the store. Also, it was only 349$ in store. I asked the sales associate why and they said that they do that often for items that are expensive to ship. So, for under 400$ you can have a powerful system that includes the option to purchase 2 additional rear speakers to make it a 5.1. It has great range that includes kids.

A good option
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased the Mini, which sounded good in the store, but back at the house, it was just too small for the size of the room. I saw this on sale, even though I still considered high priced, as most of these sound bars are, and decided to stay with Polk. The difference was night and day. I'm hearing sounds that I was not getting at all with the Mine and I don't have to turn it all the way up to hear. While it does not come close to a 5.1 system, it provides a very good, enjoyable level of sound to what you are watching...so I am happy with the buy. My only downside is that while it does have a separate voice control to try and reduce voices being muffled by all the sound, it really doesn't provide a lot of noticeable enhancement. A plus is that this has the ability to accept Polk wireless rear speakers, but they don't seem to be in stock, but I plan on getting those, when I can find them.

Worked fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup sound was good really liked the audio feature with the remote. Remote was a little slow. Not for large rooms with the 3.1 maybe ok with the 5.1 ? We have a 16' x 24' with vaulted ceilings.

Great sound, great quality, easy hookup. Everything needed for hookup is included in the package. Installed over a month ago and as long as no issues going forward my review will remain five stars.

Amazing Sound Excellent Price for what you get!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works out of the box with LG remotes. Setup was crazy easy. I installed it in a 26'x18' room and the sound quality in this thing is AMAZING!! The voice compensation allows you to amplify dialogue in movies that have unbalanced music and voice tracks. It also allows you to balance the bass and voice levels. This thing gets Loud and the bass can be felt in every part of out 4500sqft home. But it does have a "night mode" button that perfectly adjusts the bass and voice levels down to not disturb others that are sleeping if you are watching something late. Also allows you to add wireless rear speakers later if you desire. I was beyond impressed with this sound bar. This sound bar can easily compete with products that cost twice as much. For what you get this product is a steal.

Great sound!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was tossed up about buying this after reading some of the reviews. I've always known Polk to be in the upper echelon of speakers( of course i am NOT an audiophile) i just love watching movies and want good sound!! My theater chairs are about 10 feet from 75" tv and subwoofer is placed next to tv stand. I absolutely LOVE this soundbar!! My teenage daughters blast it with music while doing chores and i can feel the bass rumble in chairs when watching a good action movie!! I haven't had a single issue with hearing any cracking or distortion while playing and i just watched Deadpool 2 almost full volume!! I read its a great soundbar for beginners...i think its a great soundbar period. If mine was making cracking or popping noises i would be returning it as defective.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had Polk audio speakers in the past and they always sound great and never disappoint. The sound bar and sub sound awesome in my smaller setup. Looking to get the surround speakers once I’m in a larger space.

Sound investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this sound bar with wireless Bluetooth subwoofer. The quality sound that this system emits is more than I need for my 55” Samsung 4K but I wanted a feature that this sound bar bundle offers. It allows me to add on rear Bluetooth speakers expanding the 3.1 to 5.1. Not all sound bars make this add on available. Polk engineered the unit to make it user friendly. Set up takes only minutes and the voice volume control makes hearing conversation in movies and broadcast so much understandable.

Great sound bar, worth every penny!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Polk sound bar in lieu of installing surround sound with a receiver. You will not believe the sound this thing puts out, especially for its size. I only purchase quality sound products such as Bose, Harmon Cardin, Polk and a few others. This is a high quality sound product with no distortion when cranked up. Great for listening to music thru your favorite streaming service or itunes. I hate when I hear devices that can’t take the volume when it is turned up, especially when there is bass involved, this device can take it. I love that you can pump up the voices for clearer listening and less distortion during dialog and not lose chunks of a movie because of loud background noises when watching a movie too.
