Lots of issues
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works properly, it sounds great. The back speakers crackle quite often, the subwoofer pops once in a while even when the system is off. There are times where it doesn't work or doesn't respond to the remote and I have to reset it. I've looked up the biggest issue, the cracking back speakers, and it seems to be a reoccuring issue with multiple people. Overall, I wish I had returned it when I had the chance and tried another surround sound system.

Poor sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this surround sound with the intention of upgrading from a Vizio I previously owned. Having it now for over a year I am not impressed at all. The cheaper vizio was way better than this one. The sound isn't crisp and even when i have it really loud it doesn't sound very clear. The only two things I really liked were the sub woofer and the wireless speakers. I liked not having to run the cables to each speaker but the surround sound has been poor quality.

Polk Sound Bar Surround Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a 2.1 LG and this is way better. The surround sound speakers dramatically improve the experience. And the sound level (loudness) of the unit rivals one with a receiver. That said, I did hear popping in the surround speakers like some reviews had said, but I haven't heard that since I did the software update through the WiFi connection. Changing the volume on the center channel for voice is great plus the one button changing of modes from sports to movie is great. Once or twice, it has frozen and I couldn't adjust volume so I had to power down and back on again... but that was rare. If it weren't for those couple of things this would be a 5 rating. And actually, with these issues, I'd rate this a 4.5. Love it.

Polk Audio - 5.1-Channel MagniFi Max Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great sound and bass, Awesome look to the components. set up is fairly easy once you find the correct app which I did find a little troublesome. The link provide does seem to take you where need but a couple google searches steered me to the correct one. Took me a few times to get it to connect to Wi-fi, which I found is a common issue however I've dealt with worse. Can't go wrong with Polk Audio.

Excellent sound quality from my Polk surround
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never had a Polk product before, but i've heard the name for years. I left behind an old-style 5.1 surround system with a big receiver and big, clunky bookshelf speakers, in exchange for this more compact sound bar setup. So far, i've not been disappointed. The mids and highs are crisp and the bass can be substantially deep for an 8" sub. I have not yet installed the two wireless rear speakers, as i have just moved into my home and don't have a space for them yet, but given the size, i know i won't have a problem once the rest of my furniture arrives. I have this in my living room, so i don't have to crank the volume up very high to get the benefit of the system. It was easy to set up and has given me zero problems. I will often connect it via bluetooth to my cell phone for streaming music while i clean house, etc, and it works well for that too. The only "negative", if you can call it that, is the price. I paid $649 for it, but it had also just been released. They didn't even have it on the floor yet in my BB store, but they had a single unit in their system, so i grabbed it up. I've only had it for a couple of months, so I can't speak to the longevity of the product, but so far, so good!

Technically a little buggy, but fantastic sound!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally have never had a system that sounds this good. It really turns my projector into a theater and I'm overall very impressed. It's probably why I was willing to fight so hard for it. I spent a lot of time working with Polk customer service to try to get it connected to the network, and in the end, they just encouraged me to exchange the unit. I also still hear knocking from the sub in quiet moments. If I had paid full price for the system, I probably wouldn't have kept it. But I'm really enjoying the sound despite the issues!

Awesome sounding soundbar with many issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound bar is a very good sounding soundbar with multiple issues. I want to start off by saying this was such a disappointment. I tried my absolute best to make this soundbar work for me but all the issues that it had didn't make it possible to work. This sound bar sounds so good. The surround sound is very good and bass is amazing but there was non stop issues. During initial setup when trying to hook the soundbar up to Wi-Fi, the sound bar would absolutely not connect! I went two weeks without using the Wi-Fi feature which was one of the reasons I bought the soundbar. Two weeks later magically it connected to Wi-Fi when I tried setting it up again. The other problem that it had is the sound kept cutting in and out. Some days were worse than others when the sound will cut out. The other problem that it had was one day I went to turn it on and the subwoofer and surround speakers unsynced from the soundbar. It was such a pain to get them to resync but once I finally got it 3 hours later, the sound bar worked again. All I want to do is watch TV and have a good sound. I did not want to be dealing with non-stop issues and that's why I returned to the soundbar. Huge disappointment especially a product from Polk.

Excellent! Real theater experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the King of sound bats. This gives you that theater experience. I researched about 5 different sound bars and settled on this one. My price range for a decent sound bar was $199-$260 max. I purchased this on sale for $399. I didn't want to spend that much but after testing this out, it blew me away with the quality of sound. This is the best sound bar under $400.

Nice System but Flawed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality. However, I ended up returning because it stopped working when I switched from Netflix to regular programming. After turning it off and back on, it worked fine. This happened more than once and all Polk could tell me was to do a restart. I was running out of time on the return window so I just returned it. I may get another to see if it performs better because I really liked the Polk system.
