While I will admit entry level factory installed systems have come a long way in recent years, the stock speakers are no match for these Polks. Volume is not the true measure of quality, its a measure of a speakers efficiency, how many decibels of volume from a watt. I would wager that the stock speakers are more efficient, which may equal more volume, but not quality. So if your looking for a "I used to turn it up to here, now I have to turn it up to here, these speakers don't JAM" type review, then you may want another opinion. These speakers are NOT as loud as stock speakers, they are also not as distorted, produce FAR better mids (where most of the sound is from) and wonderful crisp and less painful highs that are much less ice-picky. Car interiors are made to be less quiet now and don't require the volume to be turned up as loud as they used to. The Polk Audio DXI571's are excellent sounding speakers that still get plenty loud but produce clarity and quality of sound that entry level stock speakers IMO, can't touch.

The sound is great. I have a truck that only has 2 spots for speakers. Now that these are in it sounds much better. I listen to classic rock and the drums and guitar sound right on.

Used to replace original factory speakers in door of F150. They sound better than the original ones and hopefully they will be immune to water that creeps into the door speakers.

Purchased these speakers on close-out at Best Buy -- installation handled smoothly and professionally by the Geek Squad. Definitely a sound upgrade in my Explorer. THANKS!

Great speaker but they do not fit air tight in a f150 like they should. Still produce good sound though.

I purchased these speakers to upgrade my factory speakers in my car. The sound quality is good. It seems like it has trouble handling any bass though.

These are well worth the money and give good accurate sound.

Great sound for the price and work very well. Purchased online for a specific price and when I went to pick them up they were a cheaper price.

My husband has been a fan of Polk Audio for many years. Our surround sound speakers are Polk Audio and so are his truck speakers. Now I'm lucky enough to be in the club! They sound AWESOME! I can't wait to replace my rear speakers!

Had 4 spkrs put into my 2012 Escape, the sound is ok

I was able to install these in my F-150 in no time at all. Sound good with the new head end I installed.

I found that my stock speakers in my car are actually louder than these Polk Audio's. I'm slightly disappointed that I bought them.
