Bought these in a 5-pack with fronts, rears, and center. I hooked it up to a Pioneer VSX-921-K reciever with an Infinity Cascade sub PSW310W and I have to say these speakers are simply amazing on how they play even smallest detail in any music, movies, and video games. These speaker will run with some of the more expensive speaker and possibly even better in sound quality, this should of been in Best Buy's Magnolia area. These also comes with a ring radiator tweeter that can play any frequency from 2,500Khz up to 31Khz with amazing clarity no, annoing ringing at high volumes.
The TL3's are the cheapest set of speakers that even come with ring radiator tweeters compared to Polk's LSI series which goes for $999 and up, as well other manufacture's like Sonus Faber $7,000 and up. For the price with these tweeters they are well worth it and will blow almost any speakers in it's category away. Also the mid ranges comes with phase control to optimize the speakers performance to help eliminate distortion and give a better and cleaner sound. The mid and highs blend excellent together to give you the perfect sound, paired with a good sub just simply amazing.

I was looking for a small good speaker. This one fills the bill. I am using it with a Sony theatre set to replace the 2 front speakers that were included with the set.

The TL 5.1 system was perfect, however my reliever supports a 7.1 configuration, hence needed to purchase a separate speaker and I am glad Polk offers this option. Would be nice if it came in a 7.1 package though.

These speakers sound great in my home theater setup, the quality of sound is awesome. I purchased these because of their size and I wanted an indiscrete wall mount speaker I could hang in the corners of my basement. However, I'm very disappointed when listening to these for music, there is little to no mid level sound from them. For the price and based on the size, I wasn't expecting them to sound as good as bookshelf or tower speakers, but I did expect them to be decent enough to listen to. Not the case. I have small KLH bookshelf speakers that aren't much bigger than these Polk's and must be well over 25 years old, and they sound much better. I'm currently using the Polks on the walls and the KLH's on the floor because all I get out of the Polks when I play music (I don't listen to classical) is a muffled mid range paired with very clear highs. My setup has a sub and Polk center speaker, as well as surround speakers, but these speakers have a big gap in the mid ranges. Don't buy these if you intend to use them alone as front speakers when playing music.

I'm using these as my rear surround sound speakers, so I can't comment on their power too much. They do produce nice clean sound and don't take up a large footprint. The wall mounts that came with the unit we're a little cheap, so I bought better ones online.

I bought these speakers to replace my Bose and I think that was a good idea
