Q: How are they connected and what do I need to purchase to connect to my TV?
A: These are not meant to be interfaced directly with a television. You will need to purchase an amp/receiver for these speakers to be attached via speaker wire. At that point you will need to connect your amp/receiver to the TV via HDMI (cable) or RCA (cables).
