I liked the night mode,which amplified the voice and slightly muted the bass.I have mid range hearing loss,and this helped.

This 34.5" long sound bar from Polk has been a decent buy for me. Apart from some operational flaws, it has worked out great. Design - Looks very nice and sleek. Good shape, light weight - 34.5 " long. Features - The voice control (not volume) is an excellent feature which increases the speech audio without the unnecessary background audio. Price - Best had this on a deal, so I got this for a sweet price of 179.99$ Flaws - 1) When you pause the video for some time, the sound bar goes into standby - when you push play, the audio takes about 6-7 seconds to resume (that is a lot in video time) 2) there are times when it wont work for some reason. Checked all connections, need to turn it off and then on again. Overall - very good sound. Good for a medium sized room for TV watching. It can be very useful when the TV has bad audio output quality (which they often do)

Quick setup review. I have a 70" vizio with cable box, xbox and blu ray. HDMI connection from all devices to tv with optical cable to sound bar. Xbox and blu Ray sounded good. Little too much bass with movies during high bass scenes. Music sounded amazing with it via Bluetooth. But the majority of use with this speaker was when watching tv and it just couldn't get loud enough for some reason. If only using for movies/music then it would be great but I upgraded to a traditional surround sound system with receiver, speakers, etc and that's what it took to fulfill my needs. Could be different for others who are not as picky as me.

I've had this product for almost a year. Super easy set up. love the voice control. It is nice to have bass like a movie theater.

The system was super easy to set up. A little fudging figuring is required to get the balance between voice, background and music. When you do, I give it about an 8.77. The biggest draw back is keeping up with the micro remote..... The unit looks good, is out of the way and does what we want it to do for the capitol investment....

Bought to replace another polk I loved.remote works great,I say that because of other reviewers complaining of it.not the loudest but I've enjoyed it with movies,music and sports.It was very easy to set up and for less than $200 I feel it was a good buy.

Sounds great, love the wireless subwoofer. Small size but has big sound.

I'm really enjoying this purchase - produces great quality sound and the Night feature is awesome for when others are sleeping nearby. The subwoofer really packs a punch.

It's the only sound bar to buy if you have a hard time hearing the voices durning a movie or show!

Okay so I decided to buy a new sound bar after own one for the past two years. I have had Toshiba SBX4250 with 300w. It was great but not the best. Bluetooth and Dialogue needs to be improved on. But the bass and and the subwoofer was awesome.. I still loved it. Now, to compare to Polk One which I decided to buy during the One day deal from Best Buy was great deal to try something new for cheap. Polk one, I love the fact that Bluetooth have a great distance range I would say about 30ft range. On my Toshiba sbx would be like 3 step away and the signal would be kill. The sound on Polk one, dialogue seems to be nice and clear but the Voice over function is annoying and the midrange seems to get cut out too much it was just not balanced. Subwoofer, I did not here anything at all base on the movie I use "Olimpus has fallen" I pack it up and went to return couple days after. It was a great buy but not up to my expectation. I think it's great if you not looking to shake up your apartment floor. It's got a great nice design though

I love the soundbar. I use the voice amplification with movies and it helps me tremendously. My wife and I listen to the music channels constantly and this unit delivers quality sound. I definitely recommend.

Wanted a good quality sound bar and a sub. Not looking to shake the house, but wanted better sound from tv/movies, plus the ability to use it as a stereo to listen to music. Great sound, not over the top in any area. Love that you can adjust the bass and voice control from the remote. Very easy to program to use your tv remote to control, which is a nice feature. Plays music, and tv/movies very well. Love it!

This sound bar has excellent sound you will not be disappointed. Of course there are other sound bars that offer more features but the prices are higher. The bass response from this system is amazing and the vocal clarity is right on point with Polk's history.

Great sound for whatever type of program you watch. The sound leveling during commercials is worth the money alone!

This sound bar was bought on sale furring a flash sale. Great sound and the sub shakes the floor on high settings. Love the Bluetooth capability and sound from this device I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good sound bar.

This sound bar isn't nearly as good as the other Polks, but it does cost a lot less. If you have a small space it may work for you, but it definitely doesn't beat any receiver/speaker set-up.
