The Polk XT90 is the perfect speaker to add to your new or existing home theater setup in order to step up to a room enveloping Dolby Atmos configuration. I have been rocking Polk home theater speaker setups for 16 years now. After pulling the trigger on a pair of XT90's to finalize my 5.2.2 surround setup, I've been amazed at how the sound places you in a bubble where the audio literally seems to come from all over, not just around. The best part is the speaker is a perfect fit on top of the XT60 tower speakers, as shown in my photo. I mostly play games where I have this setup configured, but I believe games add even more immersion than movies, due to always have audio cues playing all around the player. Hearing war planes and helicopters move overhead is surreal. Special effects in sci-fi and fantasy games are so immersive now! Obviously these are entry level, but I've always been happy with Polk's standard speaker line up the entire time I've used them. I've tried more expensive speakers from a competitor in the past, but returned them, as I prefer the sound from Polk's audio gear. Polk's subwoofer department has largely been lacking over the years, but it looks like they may have something worth investigating with the recent Signature Elite subwoofer line. I would love to get the chance to test one and compare it against one of my SVS subs.

Amazingly good sound and performance as height speakers in my 7.2 Setup with an Onkyo reciever and Sony floor standing speakers with a Polk center channel. Very happy with e price I paid and the performance.

Great sound for atmos and great all around price. Looks great and fits my floor standing speakers fine.

Ended up putting these on the wall and bam - everything sound full. Great buy.

For a little speaker this pair rocks. I finished my 11.2 with these as my front heights.

Was looking to finish my Polk speaker system, these finally arrived and couldn’t be happier with them.

Using 2 of these as ATOMOS height and 2 as Surrounds in very small 12' wide by 10' deep room with KEF Q150 fronts and Q250C center and an old Polk PSW250 8" subwoofer. through Denon AVR. They are perfect for my setup and all are high on the way. Heights are high on wall above fronts and Surrounds high on wall in the back of room. It's not ideal, but for price paid, this was a bargain to fill out room and watching movies. Was watching Ready Player One and these did their job masterfully.

Small but they have great sound. These up firing speakers fit well on top of my towers and reflect the sound well from a low profile basement ceiling. Fills the sound out well in my 5.1.2 system

I have a set a 5.1 set of Polk speakers but I used a different brand for Atmos (height) speakers. I wanted to dabble with atmos speakers and bought these set that happened to be on sale. I initially thought these speakers were fine. Then I saw these Polk height speakers on sale and decided to complete my Polk set. Wow, these made a big difference. I can hear more nuanced sounds that seemed more discrete. I find myself looking around for the room after a strange sound, then realize the sound came from the TV. These speakers really make my movie experience even more immersive.

These are great speakers which pairs well with low to mid end polk speaker system. Works perfectly with my denon receiver.

Loved my home theatre system since I got it. But it was missing one thing. So I decided to add a set of these atop my XT60'S. Completely added another dimension to my system. It fills in that gap. So now when I'm watching a movie or browsing tv. It's even more intense! You can hear the busy sounds of a street scene. The thumping rotors of a helicopter. The ricochet of bullets overhead. It's truly amazing. Definitely worth the price.

the sound is very clear and powerfull and the chipest tower speaker i ever had very easy to install to my Denon stereo receiver that covined with my ceter and side speaker

The speaker sounds good, but not as great as Klipish the same size. Also, the input wires are on the back, 90 degrees from the speaker, rather than 180 degree like you would expect, Nice small size fits anywhere.

No problems at all with the speakers and they sound great. Only issue is that I'm not impressed with ATMOS. Too many movies and shows just mix it all wrong. Sound that should be surrounding you is only coming from the ATMOS and fronts and leaving the rear with a small trickle of sound. A few demos get it right, but outside of the demos ATMOS is a failure.

Great speakers. Definitely not the best, but give you good quality Atmos for your living room.

Caught these at a good price, of course they went on sale for even cheaper a month later. Still worth what I paid for them. Enhances my amateur ATMOS set up nicely.

love these speakers You can use them as true height speakers Just put about your front speakers as high as you can facing your sitting your sitting position .Only better Atmos sound is ceiling speakers. Which i could not do . Also surprisingly great sound
