The ARC HDMI audio would not work but I was able to set it up with optical audio and got a very good result. Sounds great and has a surprising level of volume. Good clarity. I like how the light on the sound bar lets you know when you are listening to something with Dolby Atmos. Very recommended.

Love the look of this system. Like that there is an option to add wireless suround speakers at later date. Have large room with vaulted ceiling and this system is plenty loud. With the right movie the bass was decent. My TV Samsung remote does not control speakers with CEC on as the directions say.

Hello, and thank you for your positive review. We are happy to hear you are enjoying the excellent sound quality. Regarding the TV working with the soundbar, the Samsung version of CEC is called Anynet+. Be sure to connect the Polk Audio MagniFi 2 soundbar to the HDMI labeled ARC on the TV and activate Samsung Anynet+.

Sound is fantastic, easy installation/connectivity, 110% worth the price - $229 (in- store price), that's less than half price. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Bass Is wicked, sound is awesome, only one problem, you can't sync with your phone or pair Bluetooth unfortunately with any mobile device or tablets, need to press the remote control really hard to use. Wish I returned it the day I noticed

We had a Polk soundbar that one day just stopped working which annoyed me no end, but I've always liked Polk speakers (I have a pair of SDA2a's from back when Polk was TRULY special). So, I decided to give this soundbar a try after reading about it in Sound and Vision magazine.
It is SO much better than the sound from our Sony 55" screen! Movies sound like movies again and my mother-in-law doesn't have the volume constantly at 100. Dialogue is crisp and understandable. The audio overall is very full and dynamic.
I'm not sure I get the faux "immersive" sound that they claim but that's not a deal-breaker. Best of all, the soundbar comes on automatically when you turn on the TV. Our former Polk had to be turned on separately and that was annoying.
So far it's been a positive experience and Geek Squad came and set it up which was great as always.

Got a great deal on this. Open box price plus it was on sale. I paid $250. Its great for that price, but I'd be disappointed if I paid more than that. Generally sounds good. Bass adjustment is finicky. There seems to always be too much or none. The HDMI ports and CEC function is cool. My ps5 works with CEC and didn't on my TCL tv. However, sometimes it switches to the correct input and turns the tv on, but the sound is not there. I have to turn the soundbar off and then back on. Bluetooth and casting work well. Music sounds good if you're in front of the speaker. Get to far to the side and it sounds muffled. There's tons of adjustments available, but no on screen display other than volume. There's some lights behind the speaker mesh that do give some visual feedback that you're doing something, but unless you learn it's language of different numbers of colored flashing lights you're gonna kinda be guessing.

Am very happy with the product and the customer service was very good..however I noticed that a week after I purchased the system the price dropped from $499 which I paid to $399. ☹️ Would have been nice to know that was going to happen when I bought it

I had the Polk magnifi Sr sold that and upgraded to the magnifi 2. . All I can say is the 3D feature they added to the Soundbar plus the added 200 watt with the new more powerful sub sounds incredible. Sound effects for adding height virtually in my opinion is much better than Sony's offerings that I've tried. When Polk comes out with the surround speakers for this system this is going to be hard to beat for the price. I'm not going to miss Dolby Atmos I've had three sound bars with that feature and I'm not impressed. The virtual height surround feature on this Soundbar blows it away. . Powerful and very loud. highly recommended.

The sound is great for the price. I was hesitant to buy this after reading some of the reviews, but fortunately, I’m not experiencing any of the problems others have noted. It switches inputs seamlessly with no interruption. The subwoofer stays connected and provides rich sound. I have this paired with an inexpensive 70” Vizio tv and a PS5.
