This sound system is just amazing. I was very old school and more into conventional home theatre with a bunch of speakers around my living room. This sound bar and subwoofer got me to the next level, its hard to go wrong with Polk Audio. Super easy to use and connect

There are issues with this model. The voice channel drops out with "older" TVs. I have a 2015 Vizio. I wouldn't think of that as "old". So, the voice channel drops out and you either miss the dialog, or hit rewind to have the soundbar pick up the voice channel again. I have had to rewind 4 and 5 times to hear the dialog. I contacted Polk and without any questions they sent me a 2nd soundbar. Guess what? Same issue. I contacted Polk again and asked them if there is an issue with this soundbar. Their one troubleshooting tip was to set the TV audio to PCM. Unfortunately that is what I was already running. I have requested Polk either give me a free upgrade to a better model that works, or refund my money. Fingers crossed.

This purchase has been one of the most frustrating purchases I have ever made. I asked a salesman to help me put together a sound system and I ended up with componenents that weren't even compatible. I ended up driving an extra hundred miles over this and experienced a lot of anxiety and frustration because your salesman had no clue what he was doing. Thankfully, the unnecessary $355.00 I spent is being credited back to me as of yesterday, when I returned the incompatible equipment to the store. The installation by the geek squad was done very professionally and the sound system is great. The refund process performed by the young man in the store went smoothly and quickly. But the absolute aggravation set in motion because your employee sold me equipment that could not be used was an unnecessary burden, costing me time and a lot of extra driving. I just hope I don't need any additional equipment for a very long time.

Good product, makes dialog much clearer than flat screen tv speakers.

I really liked the Polk Audio Magnificent 2 sound bar system, my lady on the other hand due to it not having a treble control. Best Buy was able to give me a return with no hassle and now I await for the new sound bar that has everything we were looking for.

Overall sound is ok. Very good quality. Price is ok.

Great overall. But I hate that I have to turn it to 50% or more to hear it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom she loves it , i have the same one at my house but with the surround speakers also great very good sound an bass for movies an sports or if you just wanna play music

Great speakers. Added the to my tv because the tv speakers were just not that good. Now watching movies is almost like being in a theater. I plan on adding the surround speakers soon to add to the experience

When it worked, it was great. Now periodically, it reduces the volume after a couple of minutes. Doesn't turn all the way off, but it goes down to about a quarter volume. Now the optic doesn't work at all.

For the size of the sound bar and subwoofer the sound is that of a $100-$150 soundbar. The clarity from the soundbar is not up to par. The sub lags bringing in the lows at lower volume. Better of with the sound mini. Or the bose 300 if budget allows.

WOW. SO FAR SUPERIOR TO BOSE 700. Easy to install n sound great for all especially dialogue!

Very happy with this sound bar. It’s more than powerful and stays crisp and clear Plenty of bass if you want it with the bass control It’s worth the money

This is an Amazing sound bar. I did try many brand including Bose and Sonos. But no one can beat the price and quality that Polk provides. Great sound quality.

Slightly on sale but it was just what we needed. Had some help setting it up and it does everything we hoped it would - exactly what the sales person said it would.

One of the best soundbars I've ever own. Wish I could get it to auto connect to the tv though rather than having to turn it on each time

Don’t buy open boxes without checking at store.got this and found out it’s missing cables and had to take back.

Purchased this sound bar to use on a new TV and to replace a ZVOX 670 sound base. Set up was easy but almost immediately after set up and after adjusting the settings, it was apparent that this sound bar was not going to work. The overall sound was no better than the TV speakers and the base coming from the subwoofer was barely audible. The old ZVOX had superior overall sound and much more powerful base. I subsequently purchased a Definitive Technology Studio Slim sound bar on clearance for $499 which while a $100 more than the Polk is absolutely superior. If you have an opportunity to buy one of these "Def Techs" on clearance, grab one before they are gone.
