I originally had a polk’s T series 7.1 set up, but I wanted to up grade my right and left to floor standing. After reading up to n the T series floor standing and listening to them I realized they weren’t worth the money even on sale. What’s the point of building a theater set up if you don’t get quality. So I decided to go with the S series. A few Best Buy and Crutchfield reps suggested if that one should upgrade the center with the towers. After installing all three my 7.1 came more to life then ever before. Lows,mids,highs everything is crystal clear. Really brings you into the movie and even music. Eventually I just might upgrade my surround sound speakers to the S series as well.

I have this as part of my Polk set up and am powering it with a Denon AVR-x2300w. Clear sound on both mids and highs with decent bass. However, I use a subwoofer and crossover for the really deep stuff. Definitely a good purchase!

I have a pretty basic stereo setup for playing vinyl records, but the S50 speakers are a great match for it, and the size of the speaker fits nicely in my smaller room. The sound is very balanced and I can hear a lot of small details in the music. For the price, the S50 speakers are a good choice.

I have an older stereo system and turntable. I was pleased to discover that new quality speakers were easy to find and easy to install. The sound quality is excellent, as well as the construction.

Great speaker with balanced sound. Can't really say enough about these. Considering the price i am very impressed. i think the performance absolutely exceeds the costs. i wanted to get Klipsch however after hearing these and comparing the price it really was a no brainer. great product!

It plays good I like the sound and it was great. The base is fantastic

So far, so great. I was honestly hoping for a bit more low mid range, but I'm planning on getting a powered sub to satisfy my desire for that frequency range. For all types of music they sound great, as well as surround speaker front stage.

Best purchase EVER, great speakers, great sound, my old records came alive! Buy them! You will be happy you did!

The S50s present a clear, balanced natural sound with a laid back soundstage. I always look forward to my music listening sessions with these speakers. Highly Recommended!

These s50's are so amazing for their footprint. If you're in a small/medium size room and have a decent amp, you'll be amazed. Their claim of 32hz is a bit of a stretch, they might get there, but it's a bit muddy. But to about 40, they sound really nice. They pair amazingly well with my 8" ML sub.

Could not be happier with my new sound system! And the Sales Staff at Palmdale, CA store was helpful and friendly!

I like the way it plays, the base sounds nice. It's a great buy for the price.

I started with the S55, but the size overwhelmed the room. The S50 is smaller but packs just as much punch as the larger S55. I use these with the S35 and S10's.

Great speakers….exceed my expectations. Great deep sound.

Mid-Fi at best. Returned them immediately! I'm familiar with great Polk sound. Not these.
