I bought them for surround speakers to go along with my other polk front and center speakers. The sound is seamless with 7.2 dolby while watching movies or listening to music. Good bass mids and highs.

I have only had these for a couple of weeks, but so far they are outstanding. They were on sale when I purchased them so even more of a bargain. They are a bit heavier than I expected but the sound is superb

I had older small Polk towers, but was running out of room in my living room. I like the sound of Polks and had to downsize and these fit the bill. The tweeters were and up grade from my earlier polks. This helped widen the sound field. Polks to me are always easy to listen to. You cant hear every little going on like some other brands but that can really fatigue my hearing. So Polks are a good fit for me. They dont get harsh, unless they're really really pushed hard. I paired them with a Dayton Audio 12" sub that I already had and a polk center speaker and surrounds. Makes for a great system. With the sub I can't a test to how low they can go. All in all, love the sound

They're great. The sound is amazing and they're louder than I expected. They make watching movies sound fuller. If you can purchase them you won't be disappointed.

I bought the complete 5.1 Polk Signature Series along with a Yamaha audio/video home theater receiver and these speakers were the perfect match. These speakers not only look fantastic but they're the best sounding speakers I think I've ever owned. My last system was a Sony and these Polks were half the price but equivalent to, if not better than the Sony. The Yamaha kicks out 400 watts and when I'm watching movies I have em cranked and you wouldn't believe how great they sound, at any level. I have only owned these several weeks so while I won't be replacing them anytime soon when the time comes I'll be looking at Polks again.

Added these to my surround sound. They filled a hole in my system and pair perfectly with the signature series. They have more bass than a small speaker normally does, not enough to replace a sub woofer, but they sound great.

I was looking for a good pair of speakers for mounting on my walls to round out my home theater setup. I have been very pleased with the sound quality from these speakers and the frequency response seems to be just a bit better than others at least in my living room. One important feature of these speakers is the plastic standoff on the rear. This displaces the speaker itself providing enough room for the porting to do its job and provide a bit more low end frequency response. Excellent sound, fills the room well and is crystal clear.

Like I said, I love these speakers. I wanted to get the T-series, but my wife thought these looked much more attractive, so we went with the signature series. I’m very happy I listened to her. They sound great and look great as well.

Purchased these as front high speakers for my surround setup. Amazing response from such a small footprint. Blend perfectly with my Polk mains, both sonically and aesthetically. Very happy with my purchase experience.

Great sound for such a compact speaker! Using these in my garage at home; along with two other speakers, connected to a Sony receiver, playing CD's.

These are pretty great speakers for the money. I am using them as rear surrounds for my 5.2 audio system. They’re a little large and I have them mounted on the ceiling slightly behind my listening area angled in toward me. Theyre paired with the S35 matching center and 2 infinity IL50 powered tower speakers (old, but freakin awesome). My receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR686. They do well as surrounds, but really rock when I’m listening to my music in all-channel stereo mode. I really get immersed in the sound (and probably upset the neighbors) Love Polk products, they’re a better value than Klipsch if you ask me.

Excellent matching with with the front stage of S35 and S55 as sorrounds for side and back. As a bookself speaker, it has surprisingly meaty bass. Highs are very clear.

I consider myself to be an audiophile. I purchased a set of Polk SDA CRS speakers back in 1984. In 1984 1000.00 was a lot of money, but the speakers never let me down. I was a lot younger in 1984 but today I still know a quality speaker when I hear one. These speakers share Living/dining room with 11 other speakers with 7 of them being Polks. They have always sounded natural to me, that's why I keep buying them. Give them a listen and you will be convinced.

Never had polk before but thought I would try these on sale. They are quite nice sounding. No harsh highs and good bass. Nice looking to.

...I needed a quality pair of speakers, at an affordable price to fill out the surround sound system...the Polks were it...but they are not lightweights...so be aware and you will be fine !

I tried these speakers out but ultimately returned them. Sound quality is fantastic with one caveat----they need power to sing. Was using them nearfield, and at lower volume, they were dull and lifeless. Would be great for home theater but not so good for nearfield listening. I also felt the highs were somewhat recessed. My older RTi4's sounded, to my ears, much better.

Very comparable to the Klipsch speakers of the same size in quality with a substantial cost savings. I have 2 pairs of them in my home theater set-up and I love them. They are very easily wall mountable.

These speakers sound absolutely incredible. The bass punches through the room while the mids sing. I love these speakers!
