Great product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very well made product in my opinion as it is very light weight, it's not too tight, and overall works extremely well! Furthermore, the microphone extends out and retracts in easily making use and stow away simplistic! Great product from a trusted brand!

Surprisingly good...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these for about 2 months, now. I bought them on a whim, and at first I was convinced that I would return them to the store. They are very rigid, the volume gets loud, but caps-off suddenly, and the earcups kinda squash my ears. I'm not really into shooter/FPS-style games, so the chat capability is cool, but I probably won't use it. I bought these to play with Forza 6. They sound great!! All of the in-race and menu sounds are loud and clear, the simulated surround effect is believable, and my favorite part about these is their honesty reproducing engine sounds. That is my favorite thing, which is why I decided to keep them.

Good wireless headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With my old gaming console, I had a wired headset that proved to be somewhat tedious since I sit pretty far away from the TV when I play games. When I got a new console I wanted a reasonably priced wireless headset. The only complaint I have is that the bass isn't that great when playing FPS games. Other than that, it's lightweight and comfortable and a great headset for the price.

They are alright
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound different between these and turtle beach headsets or similar is miles apart, and so is the difference between these and the striker pro. These are far better than any other headsets at the same or lesser price point. I have owned 2 pairs of these, and the cat ate both. Something about the cord on these versus other headsets is apparently tasty. The first one I had did wind up having some crackling issues, but I never experienced it with the second set, so it may have been a defect. I'm going to opt for the Striker Pro for my next set rather than these due to the Mic and sound difference.

Okay Sound, Needs Thicker Padding.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently decided to buy a set of gaming headphones for better chat during multiplayer gaming. Reviews made these sound like a good deal for the price. Maybe I just expect too much because I have really great over the ear headphones I use for music that cost less than these. Audio Quality: The audio was okay, but not particularly great. I don't have enough experience with Xbox One headsets to say if this was a problem with the headphones or the fact that Xbox compresses the audios and sends it to the controller via wireless. Construction: The overall construction was just okay as well. I can definitely see these breaking easily as some have complained about if you are not particularly careful with how you store them and handle them. The headphones are pretty much all plastic, but that's usually what you get at this price point and for long gaming it is usually okay since it keeps the weight down. Comfort/Fitment: This is where thing went bad for me. I don't have a particularly large head, so I didn't have any issues that others did with overall tightness. The problem I did experience was that the depth on the ear pads was too shallow. This means that my ears would touch the surface that houses the speaker. For some people this may not be an issue, but for me it is. None of my other over the ear headphones have this problem. If it was just a matter of the edge of my ears brushing up against the surface that would be one thing, but it is enough that I can feel the pressure across my entire ear and it causes discomfort. An extra couple dollars invested in better ear pads would have been enough to keep me from returning them. If they were easily removable and replaced with reasonably priced upgrade I may have decided to keep them. Conclusion: As it stands I cannot recommend these headphones to others, particularly not at the full retail price. I have had great experiences with other Polk Audio products in the past, but these headphones miss the mark.

Not Comfortable, Too Tight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously purchased the XO Ones and they weren't very comfortable. I bought these and they were even more uncomfortable! I felt like my eyes were going to pop out with these on. The ear cups are also way too small. I returned them and purchased the HyperX Cloud headset. Highly recommend those!

Great until it broke
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Polk Striker ZX headset worked wonderful with Xbox One. It was comfortable to wear, sounds and communication was clear... until the headset broke after two months. It snapped apart at the grey area by the ear. The headset seemed sturdy, but it's obviously cheap plastic because my previous headset (made by another manufacturer) lasted me four years, for the entire length I kept my old Xbox gaming unit. Because I paid cash and didn't keep my receipt (just the box it came in) Best Buy would not do anything for me. Now I'm without a headset and have to incur the expense of purchasing another one.

works fine but input cable is cheap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.gone through 2 of these in a year, each time the input jack would eventually cut in and out and become nonfunctional after a while. paid for geek squad but sucks ill have to go in and get a replacement. however this isnt the first brand of stereo headsets with this problem that I have experienced. maybe it's me.
