Amazing restoration of classic Popeye shorts! Definitely worth purchasing these volumes if you’re a Popeye fan.

For those of us who purchased the first 3 volumes of Popeye when they first came out, this is a joy to see. The picture and sound are excellent. Hopefully, we will eventually get all available Popeye episodes from all eras.

NIce to have in HD. Excellent picture for these classic cartoons. If you want to seem more releases like this, show your support and buy!

Family enjoys these, and this is a nice upgrade over the dvds. Unlike with Looney Tunes, these episodes pick up after the dvds, so no repeats.

You have to be a Popeye fan to enjoy these. The color is very good but the stories are a + and -. The blue ray transfer is tops being from the 40's.

You rarely get to hear about Popeye at all these days and especially with releases of any vintage cartoons dwindling these days it was a great surprise that Warner Brothers released their 4th volume of Popeye cartoons 10 years after the release of the 3rd volume. The restoration and presentation of these classic shorts are top notch leaving the family and collectors to fully enjoy these classics, which to my knowledge have ever been released on any home video format. There is hope that if sales are good enough on this volume, we'll not only see more releases of Popeye but also more of the classic cartoons like Tom & Jerry. Highly recommend this set.

I didn't really know what to expect from the disc, but on the recommendation of many on Facebook, I dove in. Although the offerings are sparse, e.g., no booklet, no extra features, the cartoons have been remastered to near-perfection! The colors are so vibrant, the lines so crisp, the soundtrack is in great condition. Any Popeye fan will not be disappointed in what is offered here.
