So... my hatred for Square is great, like I cannot express calmly how terrible they are. However, every time I speak with tech support, they are always very kind and helpful, thus the 2 stars. However, it seems I ALWAYS have to call tech support for THEIR mistakes, constantly pushing updates out that don't work well. Don't buy their stuff, you'll regret it eventually!

Works great for my iPad to run Square!! Love the tap for credit cards. Only miss if you need to swipe there is no way to do that or auto adding names.

Sadly it died after 7 months. The iPad can no longer connect to the device without getting an error or it keeps spinning waiting to connect. I've tried another iPad and got the same result. I can't recommend this item. Just use the hand held square reader to save yourself from this frustration.

Usbc connection broke almost immediately. Have to be super gentle when taking iPad out or putting in.

Stopped taking payments. It would be completely connected but none of the readers work, making me have to enter every card manually, which of course, costs you the most for “card not present” fees. The warranty was only for a year and after going back and forth with customer service for a while through a chat, they offered no solution and said there was nothing they could do since it was bo longer in warranty. What am i supposed to do with a stand that no longer takes payments.
