    It did amplify the sound from up close but from the distance that I needed it for I couldn't tell a huge difference. Looking into a mobile wireless Mic set up.

    I am very impressed overall with this product. I bought this mic to use with my iPhone 6s and it works great! It eliminates background noise and wind noise. It does come with a wind shield and the adjustable pivot point allows the user to get a better angle to pickup better audio. The audio quality is much better than the standard phone audio.
