Great horror movie on top of that it was a true story .. A true classic for years to come ..would highly recommend to friends..

This was a different take on the possession/exorcism trope and it was highly underrated in the horror genre. Jewish mythology/mysticism isn't a common element in horror and it definitely set a different tone. The bluray is great and has a bonus featurette exploring the origins of the box. Worth getting!

The menu intro itself was already creepy. I loved it. Definitely a keeper in my scary movie collection.

I love horror/scary type movies and although most movies aren't scary these days there is that element of surprise and shock factor. In the age of great horror movies like The Conjuring series and the Insidious chapters the Possession falls short, it has its moments and you do get a glimpse of the demon. Its an ok movie

Im a huge fan of paranormal movies (bases on a true story or not) and the Possession started off good but half way just falls short. It had that creepy vibe and good scenery (cold dark New York State town) and some scenes were great but in the end this is good but one of my least fav of new age scary movies
