The size and feel of the controller is great, if only it worked as expected. I had trouble getting the device to pair with iOS. I managed to get it to pair with Android, but only for a short time. There is no Windows Phone support. The games that are compatible with the device is sparse (you have to pay for most of them). When I did get a game to work, the Bluetooth connection was lost. I finally got frustrated with the device, and listed it on eBay.

I've used the game controller for a few older Nintendo games from the original NES that I've downloaded to my phone. While it does make the games easier to play now, it's still not a whole lot easier as the buttons are placed really awkwardly on the controller. All the buttons are set at a slant. I'm accustomed to the NES and Playstation controllers. With this controller being similar to the Playstation layout I thought it would super fantastic. However, it shies just a little of that due to the layout of the buttons. They're not entirely ideal, so I haven't used the controller as much as I thought I was going to when I found it. But it's not bad or useless and is still good for the casual gaming. That said, the price was really too high-especially for something that eventually will not be supported after a period of time.

Pros:
1. The clasp to hold your phone is solid and secure.
2. No lag when playing emulated games in B mode. Very responsive.
3. Long battery life.
4. Android MOGA App is really well made.
5. Holds well in your hand.
Cons:
1. The joystick on the right side gets in the way when trying to hit the two nearest buttons. Gets really annoying. Good luck reaching for that start button.. too tightly packed buttons.
Even though the button layout near the right joystick is annoying, I love this controller. I have mainly used it for emulated games and makes me feel like the old days holding a Game Gear in my hand.. except a lot nicer!

I have been a huge fan of Moga. I initially had the original pocket but I felt like it was too small and HATED having to put batteries in it all the time. The pro power is a great upgrade. It not only just needs to be charged but it can charge your device while it plays. My only gripe is that it doesn't support a lot of different games. Minecraft pocket would be a great upgrade to it along with countless other android games., It does work for KOTOR which made me happy

The controller has great action. The setup is a little tricky for non-native Moga supported apps. The native Moga configuration will not play in Emulators. At least I couldn't get it to work. There are a number of good tutorials to get it working with emulators. I simply connected it with the B switch and use the HID controller mapped as keyboard keys. This works fine with some emulators. Not all support this.
The extra battery feature is a bonus.

Best Android Controller Out

By far the best controller out compatible with android phones as well as my Galaxy Gear VR. Charges my phone while playing my emulators on it which basically doubles as a backup external battery for my phone while gaming. 5 out of 5

I've been very happy with this controller. It makes mobile gaming much more enjoyable, it lasts a long time on one charge, and there are a good number of games that it works with. I always have this with me at work to use during break times.
I'd write some of the cons, but I honestly can't think of any right now!

This controller and Emulators = a portable gaming console(s)!
The controller holds your phone securely, it can also charges your phone (playing games or just need the extra juice) and it is small enough to take with you anywhere! The Tablet stand is nice too. The only downside that I have found (maybe just my controller) but sometimes (very rarely) the bottom button sticks.
If you are thinking twice about picking one up... just do it, you will not regret it!

This is cool. I'm not a huge gamer, but when I play it is really nice to have a physical controller to use instead of the on screen controls. I believe the best set up is with the HTC One M7 due to it's front facing speakers and great audio. The battery that comes built in is a great addition so that you don't lose much functionality with your phone for more important things like phone calls.

The Moga Power Controller for Android devices works extremely well after you download the helper app onto the device, whether SmartPhone or Tablet. My major issue with the controller is having to download an app to use the controller. Other controllers like the Amazon Fire Bluetooth Controller work extremely well without the requirement of an app download. All said, I do love the size and the reliability of the controller and take it with me for my extensive travel.

Everything about this controller works really well with any size android. I have a Note 3 and it fits perfectly. I have yet to play an emulator that doesn't work with the "B" setting on the controller. Only 2 cons I can think of is that the buttons are a little loud, and the retail price is a little steep. If you can find it on sale anywhere just remember Best Buy will price match if you don't feel like waiting for shipping.

Works well with my Samsung tablet. However, buy it in store and have them price match Walmart. It's like 35 dollars cheaper there. At the 50 dollar price point though, totally worth it, and the battery lasts forever.

Bottom line is the controller works perfectly but the moga software has connection issues. Sometimes it does not even connect to the controller. The compatible games list is also very limited. I think the problem is due to newer android OS not being fully compatible with moga app. Future updates may correct the software bugs.

I got this controller specifically to use with my Gear VR headset. Setting it to "Mode B" works perfectly. EVERY game and app on the Gear VR works flawlessly with this controller. It feels very similar to an Xbox 360/One controller and is very well made. The phone clamp fits my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 WITH an Otterbox Defender case that makes it a lot more thick. The clamp holds it into place without the worry about it falling out.
