The speakers I got were not as described.

I had to doublecheck the box to make sure they were even correct. The model number was correct, but the reality does not jibe with the web site description... The description said polypropylene cones; the actual cones are some sort of impregnated paper. The speaker cones pictured on the website are smooth; the actual speakers have annular rings. I'm not sure it's going to make any difference to my intended use, but I think it's ominous that the product is so different from what I was expecting. It's like an entirely different product. I selected these speakers based on their posted specs for a project requiring a certain dynamic audio range and now I realize I can't trust what was posted at all. I had to wait 5 days for these to come because they don't carry a lot of stuff in their bricks-and-mortar stores (why have bricks-and-mortar stores if you don't stock stuff, Best Buy?) and it's too much hassle to return them, but I doubt I'll order anything online from BB again. The speakers themselves sound OK but nothing to celebrate.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is to DaveD13 from Lancaster, PA , u said that their is no bass, THIS IS A MID BASS DRIVER..ITS NOT MENT FOR BASS the soul purpose of this speaker is for your mids, it has no tweeter or bass just mids, anyway this is a great speaker and sounds wondefull with my tweeters and subwoofer. can not go wrong with it

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these with a new Kenwood receiver to replace blown speakers in the rear deck. They have a very poor output, hardly any bass or highs, all mid-range. They would work fine in a component set up but are a poor choice for stand alones. The factory door speakers overpower these even at a 70/30 fade to the rear. Needless to say they are coming out and I am going to eat my loss. I got what I paid for, do yourself a favor and spend and extra 40-50 bucks and get something worthwhile.
