When we got this I thought it looked cheap but it works fine and protects the surface pro screen too. I would not recommend it for younger kids as it may break easily.

Really happy, like the the keys, works as well as a laptop keyboard.

Good product, worked perfectly and easily installed

more expensive then it should be given the weight and actual extra power it adds. if you buy it with the surface rt or pro it's not as bad but if your upgrading your keyboard/cover it become a 300 keyboard... Does not fit the new Surface (well properly since he screen is bigger) but does fit the rt version.

Great replacement keyboard for the Original Surface Pro. One the biggest complaints of the original surface pro was battery life. This keyboard corrects that problem.

Does what I want, adds enough battery life to mu Surface Pro 2 so that it can be used all day without worry. It is pretty heavy when compared to there standard keyboards.

Got this for my daughters surface that she uses for school so she doesn't have to use the keyboard on the screen. Plus it adds a little protection from bumps. Got it on sale and has its own battery so it wont drain the tablets so fast.

Love this keyboard, however, the people in the store didn't realize these were only in their overflow section. They were not with all the other tablet keyboards. Took time to find it in the store but was worth it. Wish they had these earlier as I had already bought the other keyboard. This one is much more sturdy and long lasting.

The battery boost is extremely nice on my surface pro. Sad it was necessessary. I don't like the texture of the backing, but I never touch that through my case

I like having the keyboard that connects to the Surface Pro 2 so that I basically have a laptop to work with when it is attached. I like the feature in the Power keyboard that extends the battery life. And I like that the keys are big enough that I can mostly feel like I'm working on a regular size keyboard, except for some small arrow keys and others. However, I feel like the touchpad and its left/right buttons are all but useless. The motion of the arrow or cursor is jerky so it can't be placed correctly quickly. To use the right/left buttons involves hunting down with your thumb or finger to find exactly where the button is. I considered returning this keyboard and getting something wireless but hated to give up the features of this keyboard that I liked. So I settled for getting a USB mouse. That is working fine, except that my one USB port is now used for the mouse USB, and I not only have to transport my neat and tidy laptop package between work and home, but also take a loose mouse. A keyboard that I paid $200 should have a decent touchpad.

So it does lengthen the battery life of my Surface Pro, however there were a few issues I had with it that ultimately led to me returning it. It does double the weight of the tablet which I kind of expected. The one thing that I wasn't going to deal with out of a 200$ battery was the battery drained way too quickly. I would have both batteries fully charged and within 1-2 days this battery would drain completely. The built in battery (and almost every other battery I have ever used) drains a lot slower. This completely kills the effectiveness of this battery if I can't count on it to still carry a charge after a few days. It did about double the life of the battery when it was charged though, hence the three stars.
