I find that this controller almost feels more responsive than my wired gamecube controllers connected via adapter. I think this may have something to do with the input lag that exists in Smash Bros and the way a wired controller works vs the way this wireless controller connects. As a note, this controller doesn't show up as a gamecube controller when you connect it in smash; it shows up as a wireless controller, similar to a Switch Pro controller. Great controller to use!

Bought controller for grandsons who play a variety of games on their switch. This controller was recommended to me by a Best Buy associate. Wireless capability great feature for kids who jump around while playing games. Grandsons love the ease of use and connectivity the controller affords them. Definitely recommend for Super Smash Bro’s. Game as well as other switch games. They have tried the controller with all their games and love it.

Good controller that works with more than just smash bro’s. Easy to set up. Only down side and it isn’t a big one is that it has no rumble.

Joy stick is easy to use, being wireless makes it even better, you can use it any where in your room.

This is by far the closest feel to the Gamecube original wired controller. Worth every penny.

Sturdy controller and pretty much an exact replica of the GC controller. Does require batteries however.

Got this for Smash Bros Ultimate. It was easy to set up and feels just like a GameCube controller for the most part. I just wish it had rumble.

I have always been a fan of the Gamecube controller, especially for certain games in Nintendo's library (Smash Bros). However, it has become one of my favorite controllers to date and I use it for plating any game I can play on the Switch. If you have used and enjoy the feel of a Gamecube controller, I would recommend picking this up.

I personally got this for the nostalgia while playing Super Mario Sunshine, and this is the perfect controller for those with memories of the GameCube days. I've also found that I prefer this button layout to that on the joy-cons. It's a much easier transition coming from mostly Playstation games, seeing as the confirm and back buttons are switched on the joy-cons.

I love the feel on the gamecube controller and this is perfect for playing smash.

The Wavebird has been replaced and now finally a Gamecube controller that is a Switch Pro controller and wireless is here for all your wireless Smashing needs! The range on this thing is so good! It can pick up a signal from across the room and best of all, there is no lag!! Best controller I've ever used and highly recommend buying a bunch for your Smash parties.

Great controller. Really useful if you like the gamecube controller for Smash Bros. The shoulder buttons are digital so they press when clicked unlike the og gamecube controllers which were analog n had travel to play with. Not a big deal overall. Great purchase, works well.

A really good quality product for the price. Great for playing smash ultimate. Keep in mind that you’re sacrificing the rumble feature for wireless.

This is a really nice wireless controller it is styled after the GameCube design and I like that a lot It is made to be used with the Nintendo Switch and it works well for me. I really enjoy playing on the switch more since I got this controller. I think most people would enjoy the switch gaming experience more if they had a controller like this.

It's a little different from the original GCN controller, but it still feels very familiar and comfortable. The most noticeable difference is how the buttons press down; it's a more tactile actuation and has a more audible click than the original GCN controller. The response time is excellent, and its functionality is identical to the Pro Controller, so users can play all their regular Switch games with it.
