I've always been skeptical of buying a third party controller, but this controller from PowerA Plus has been excellent. A very well constructed controller that has the perfect feel to match the Switch Pro Controller. Anyone looking for a cheap alternative for 2 player gaming should pick this thing up pronto!

I have a few hours of play time with this controller and so far I have been very pleased. It is very inexpensive when compared to the Pro controller and it doesn't sacrifice quality in doing so. The difference between the two is that the Pro is wireless and this isn't, however this is not a problem for me as I sit relatively close to my television and the cord is sufficiently long to not be an hindrance. It also comes with additional thumbsticks of various sizes. This is a great controller and is perfect for people that need extra controllers around when they have people over. I highly recommend!

This controller is solid. I didn't want to drop 80$ on a 1st part switch controller at the time and I usually dont buy 3rd party like this but I actually prefer this controller over the Joycons. Better size for my hands and works perfect.

Got this controller to have as a backup because I was left without any ways to play my Switch when I had to send my right JoyCon for repairs. The controller looks VERY nice and feels good. The sticks are replaceable but it's really hard to remove them the first time. I felt like I broke them but now it's all good. The USB cable is very long so you can sit away from the TV when playing. I wish it was USB-C though. I do have a Switch stand and I used a USB-C to Micro USB cable and was able to use this controller on the Switch while in portable mode. The buttons are kinda mushy but they are responsive. The sticks are accurate and don't feel like a cheap knockoff when aiming. I recommend these to anyone who wants a "Pro controller" without the price of one.

Great controller if you don’t mind wired and don’t want to spend countless dollars on batteries or chargers. Awesome Super Mario design. Great gift for my son.

Considering what PS4 and Xbox controllers cost, this controller is a great bang for your buck even though it isn't wireless.

Great for a second player. No worries about charging and losing the controller, super long cord from tv to couch. Large enough for large hands so no cramping of fingers.

I like the controller but just don't like that it isn't wireless. But it's pretty affordable compared to the wireless ones so it's a compromise.

I purchased this controller instead of the pro one because of the price. It works pretty well. I really like the warm red color. Great Super Mario edition.

Great color and works better then the joy cons. I'd rather use that then the joy cons. The hoy cons are great for travel but that's about it.

It’s a good controller, easy to maneuver when playing Mario kart. Just wish it was wireless but wireless is way too expensive.

I didn’t realize that these remotes were wired when I initially purchased them, which disappointed me, but these remotes have been great! The cable is really long, where we can still sit comfortably in our living room and play. It’s a good option for when our switch remotes run low on battery and great for the price.

This controller is great you can switch the joysticks to your preference and the Mario theme is fun. Only minus is that is wired

This controller is easy to use and feels like a Game Cube controller. This is an easy way to connect to the system.

The controller is a great option if you do not want to go the full price on a Pro Controller. As an added bonus the controller does connect via USB to PC which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately button mapping is cumbersome. Why it is cheaper...It does not have vibration and some of the other fancy features a Pro Controller has...but that should be expected. Over all a very nice controller and works well with the Switch as intended for simple gaming use.

The controller is really good for its price. Joy sticks are not as responsive as I would like,but the buttons feel great. Only thing I can think to warn someone of is if you are going to be playing super mario odyssey this controller does not have motion controls which are very helpful in SMO and make doing certain actions much easier(some you can't even preform without MC).If you want a normal controller with motion controls you will need switch pro controller.

This is really like 4.5 stars, not quite perfect. The controller is excellent, at least 95/100 compared to the official models. The extra thumbgrips are awesome for the price. The included ones are the opposite (concave vs convex) of the type that come with the console. Luckily they can be easily switched. Durability and feel are excellent, although slightly louder than the official Nintendo controller. I will be purchasing the black model as well, good buy.

This is a good alternative to the pro controller. Like others said, no rumble or motion capabilities but the price is good

I got this controller for my son. Is a great controller even if is wired. Really good for when the switch is dock.

The design on the controller is nice. The USB cable to connect the controller to dock is long enough imo. The thumb sticks are concave like the xbox one's controller which is a good thing for me because it provides a better grip for my thumbs. I really don't like the controllers that have the dome for for the thumb sticks because my thumb tends to slip off more often. The d pad isn't great if you're going to use it for side scrolling or precise direction presses. It's the same problem when I use my pro controller too when playing Breath Of The Wild. I want to change my weapon with right d pad but it would input as up or down. Nintendo should really improve the d pads for their controllers, to be honest, if they are going to have a virtual console for the online subscription service that's coming out in September. Most of the virtual console games would benefit greatly from a better d pad. But overall, I would really recommend getting this controller for that price if you dont want to spend $70 on a pro controller.
