The charging wire that came with the PS5 gave out in less than 6 months. This charger is very easy to use. The controller easily settles on the cradle and the light tells you that it's charging. We had a PS4 charger and it was difficult to connect the controller. If that was your experience, be assured this one for PS5 is way better.
