The wire is detachable from the controller but it does not have Bluetooth capability to connect to your switch. ONLY RATING 3 STARS BECAUSE BEST BUY LISTED THE ITEM INCORRECTLY AND IT IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.

But it beats the price of a pro controller, won't die on you while your playing, and still gets the job done.
