This cooker has revolutionized family meals. We use it for making rice on a regular basis (takes about 15 min instead of 30). We also make authentic Mexican taco meat fillings, the family favorite is carnitas. Garlic roasted potatoes are quick and delicious too. It is high quality and has a stainless insert, meaning we don’t have to mess with non-stick chemicals.

Love this as a pressure cooker. Has many other functions but I have not used them yet. Good size and very easy to clean up.

It’s a cool item! I like the regular instant Pot better. This instant pot is little more powerful.

Awesome pressure cook. So easy to use. Got most of our meals cooked quickly.

If you mainly cook with high pressure (majority of pressure cook recipes are) but want to add sous vide at a more reasonable price than an IP Ultra, this cooker may be the one for you. $59.99 sale price is a great deal. This cooker does not have low pressure. It includes a glass lid to use for the non-pressure programs. Pros: Stainless inner pot. Sous Vide. Yogurt program (boil method) but you can use Sous Vide to do quick start. Operating pressure and thus temperature a bit higher than the IP, so not need to lengthen cook times. Plenty of power. Lid has an automatic closer for the pressure release valve. Tricolor blue/orange/red display provides at-a-glance visual indicator of what stage the cook cycle is in. Cons: User manual is not the best set of instructions for a complete beginner. (But read the article at PressureCookingToday.com and that should help fill in the blanks.) Factory warranty is a short 60 days vs. 1 year for Instant Pot, and manufacturer of this makes you ship a defective cooker back to them. I recommend getting Best Buy's protection plan. I rate this 4 stars due to the short warranty and the confusing user manual.

Worked great for rice once. Tried using it again and got a lid error. Instead of trying to help me trouble shoot solutions the customer service rep merely informed me I was outside the 60 day warranty and there was nothing to be done. Buy another one was her advice.

I used this twice and it worked great! Mac n Cheese and Beef Stew. Was going to cook hard boiled eggs and it wouldn't even turn on. Bought and Instant Pot and that works great! No happy with the Power Quick Pot and I don't recommend!
