Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare id one of the most realistic games i have ever played if not the best, the graphics, gameplay and the game itself are very close to real life i would imagine with a extremeley fun story line that every one will enjoy. Definatley get this game !

Awesome. This game is indescribable, only playing it to feel what it looks like. I used to prefer playing FPS games in PC, but this one is amazing. If the next COD game matches with Modern Warfare and add more weapons, it will beat in every shooting games for PS3.

This game has incredible life - like graphics and realistic sounds including landing, jumping, firing and picking up weapons. The only bad thing is the single player is much too short and i beat it in only one day. This game is worth the money.

This is the best game ever. It was so fun to own all of my friends!!!! The online play is so fun, i had trouble putting the game down. The weapons are so realistic (I love the sniper rifle). I so reccomend this game, mostly on ps3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is great. Campain is short, but fun. But what really makes it a great game is its multiplayer. I would not buy this game if I didn't have online access if I were you though. Great game!

I love this game! Very fun and the action is very cool. The only problem I have with the game and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it is short. Other than that, it's a total blast.

Pros: -This game is extremely realistic, makes you feel like you are there. -The concept of leveling up your character is awesome, unlocking weapons etc. -Controller on PS3 is designed VERY well for shooter games. Normally I prefer shooter games on PC but this game is one of the few exceptions. Cons: -Updating the game is a pain. You have to get it through a patch with a game.com type of website and most of them make you sign up a subscription or pay for a monthly fee to download the patch. If you aren't subscribed or pay a due, you have to wait forever just to get the download.

It is a great and fun game for endless hours of fun. Difficulty could range from 1 to 5 beacuse it depends the mode you pick. Story is well planned and played out. Theres arcade modes to try to rack up more points then your friends. Ok time to review online gameplay. Online is really quality made. The many guns you can choose from makes the game keep on going. I would reccommend CoD4 Modern Warfare "Game Of the Year Edition" because its a great game and in the Game of the year edition you get a free map pack. A mappack is bonus maps.

This game is great. The single player campaign has cool missions but it could be longer. the online play is amazing. no lagging or anything.

How has anyone not played this yet? It amazes me how some people have yet to play this masterpiece of modern console gaming. The level design, the beautiful graphics, tight game play, legendary multiplayer maps, and then some and still haven't picked up a copy? Anyways, the story follows the SAS's newest recruit "Soap" McTavish joining Capt. Price and his squad boarding a vessel holding Russian weaponry of the nuclear kind, but stolen by Al-Assad, an anti-Western terrorist who is causing unrest in the Middle East trying to take over a small, oil-rich country. The US invades the country to find Al-Assad, while the SAS hunt for him in Russia, following up a tip from fellow Russian Armed Forces. After a shocking twist and the plot unravels deeper and deeper, it all concludes in one epic conclusion that will satisfy fans of CoD and action games alike. I seriously urge anyone to pick this game up on any system or PC (Even the DS has a fun version of the game!) and experience some terrific multiplayer, fantastic graphics and one terrific twist that will shock you to pieces. Buy it now, or wait til the remaster comes out in November, but still pick it up!

this game is AMAZING! after four years people still love this game. after four days half the people who bought black ops had sold it. the only game that could beat this game is mw2 maybe. if you dont have this game go get it, then it can entertain you till mw3.

played this thing for 360 and it of course was sick then when i got ps3 it was the 1st game i bought and it was even better the graphics on this game rules if you have a ps3 this game is a certian must have. not only would i recommend it to both the readers tof this and a friend i already have recommended it to a friend. the online to this game is THE BEST and when you play it with friends its better so you and all your friends with a ps3 should all buy it

Most of the reviews for this game are pretty dead on. This game is amazingly clear. I was never really good at the FPS games but this game is really simple to pick up and you learn the rest of the controls as the game goes on. The online play is also a lot of fun where you can spend extra hours just online which gives the game great replay value once you are done with the main story. amazing game all around. just play it and you won't be disappointed.

I have been playing this almost on a daily basis since it first came out. The Single player campaign is pretty good, but the multiplayer online portion is where the fun never ends. Most addicting game i have ever played. Im glad for once a good modern combat game has been put out. Its just fantasic. Endless non-stop fun. Check it out! the game has been out for awhile, but more people than ever play online and it never gets old!

Only get this game for the online multiplayer. the single player is way to short. Trust me, you will hate this game for how addictive it is.....you wont ever want to touch your other games again. prestige mode is so simple but it's genious!!!! Also the Game of the Year edition is nothing special....they no longer include the code to get the free variety map pack.....you still gotta pay for that at the Play Station store.

this game is like a drug or like the perfect woman, you get one piece of it and you are hooked. this is by far the best game i have ever played. i have so many days logged and i still can't wait to get home and get on it. the only bad part is that i wonder if they will ever come close to making a game this good. world at war is good but is not even close to cod4. if you don't have it get it you will be addicted.

It was a great chance to escape the done to death WW2 time period because it was time for something fresh. This is fresh the only problem i saw with this game was that after you beat the game twice at most it was like eh the story got old quick. The multiplayer online was the true perk of the game. now i would recommend playing this before any of the others because it give you a taste in the trend of that COD is headed. It was a great game it just wasnt perfect.

actually purchased after MW@ but loved MW2 so much that I had to have MW1. The game is more limited than MW2 but it is still a lot of fun, especially if you prefer campaigning over online or arcade style play.

This game is unrivaled as far as graphics and gameplay go. The online is great-provided that the people you are playing with have headsets. I would recommend this to anyone who likes shooters. This game alone makes the PS3 worth buying. I'm slightly worried about the new COD because I highly doubt that they can top this. Going back to WWII is disappointing. Stick with COD4.
