This game is very challenging. It really takes a lot patience and eye coordination, but overall this game is awesome and is one of my all time favorites.

This is the first time I'm playing this game so it does seem slightly outdated, but its still a really good game with very engaging gameplay. I've spent hours on it. I wouldn't recommend to those who get frustrated easily.

This game is all about taking it slow, being calculated, patience, and not giving up! The first entry of the soul series. My first tries at this game were a bit boring, but after playing Bloodborne (Some may considering it an indirect sequal) I fell in love with the game style so much that i've started going back and replaying the older games and actually giving them my full attention. I have no regrets going back and playing these... Just many...many... deaths.

Probably the most difficult game I have ever played, but at the same time it is one of the more satisfying games I have ever played. I know that sounds confusing I guess you will have try it for yourself.

Not a game for the casual gamer, but this game's challenges makes it so rewarding after dying so many times! Combat system is great! Highly recommended!

It's the precursor to dark souls. The animations are my only negative. the game is great. Seller was fast and so was shipping.

This probably one of my favorite PS3 games, hands down. Though very challenging, if you put the time into the game, you will soon realize this is such a well put game.

I prefer the newer stuff, but it holds up well. Animations are weakest suit.

This is a great game with solid action and plenty too explore and overcome. It is difficult, but rewarding. If you are new to the Souls series, this is a good one to start with. Best Buy's pre-owned version came in great shape and plays perfectly. Although it was the players choice version not the original as the picture indicates.

So, you'll die a lot in this game. You'll be really challenged, maybe even frustrated and there is not much of a story to speak of. But... if you are looking for something gratifying and a real sense of accomplishment, this is singularly alone, barring the spiritual successor to this game, Dark Souls. Demon's Souls will not hold your hand, in fact it will throw you to the wolves... A LOT. And unlike a lot of other modern games pretending that your previous death didn't happen and sending you back only a few minutes earlier to to your previous auto-save, death is a big part of the game and it matters if you die, the game doesn't pretend you didn't die, Demon's Souls wants you to learn from your mistake by sending you back to the beginning of the level. The sense of accomplishing something difficult is the crux of this game, and if that is something you're interested in and you've overlooked this game, get this game now; there are very few games out there as good and gratifying as Demon's Souls.

To begin with I am new to the RPG genre the first game to grab my interest in terms of RPG games was Fallout 3 but ever since that game I am now loving this genre. I read most of the reviews for Demon's Souls from most of the reputable game review sites. I have to be honest I was worried that I wouldn't like Demon's Souls and I know what you are thinking why not go and rent a copy yeah right not a copy in sight at the video store. So I took a leap of faith just as I did when I bought Fallout 3 and I have to say. I love this game! It is tough but extremely addicting. Fallout 3 had me playing at any given moment that I had chance to and this is the case with Demon's Souls as well. The game would have been better if a few things were actually explained in detail such as how to do magic and miracles etc but IGN has helped with that. You will die quite a number of times but you will learn what you did wrong if you pay attention and try other strategies. Go out and buy this game you will not be disappointed!

This game is quite challenging. Coming out before dark souls this is the game that began the challenging gameplay that has come to be expected. The enemies will kill you, and they will kill you a lot. And there is a punishment for dying, all experience will be lost. But this is just a part of the challenge that this game brings to the table, and overcoming this leaves a great feeling.

I'm the type of person that doesn't take dying/losing very well, resulting in me putting down the game for awhile in favor of playing others. The game is still good once you get the hang of it, but once you run into something you can't defeat or pass, you might become discouraged to continue on. For those who love a challenge, this game may be in your tops.

This RPG is one of the hardest and more satisfying games I've ever played.
