I had an awesome time playing this game... which says a lot considering how often I died. There's several different ways to build your character and level them... and there are definitely combinations that are more effective than others. That being said, you should be able to get through the game no matter how you set yourself up... As soon as I was out of the intro area, I found myself hacked to death by a horde of goblins. Goblins! They're supposed to be cannon fodder! It feels like (with a few notable exceptions like Dark Souls) RPGs have been spoon-fed to us lately... I blame spoiled WoW players... Long story short, if you like hack and slash games with a bit of challenge, this one's a lot of fun.
