This is a good Final Fantasy game with over the top graphic and good storyline.

This game in my opinion is the best one from last-gen consoles (PS3, 360) and for the price of $9.99, it's a must buy if you haven't already and you enjoy Final Fantasy games or JRPG.

First, this game looks awesome and I can't wait for it to come out. Second, who knows when it's actually coming out. Do not believe the release date they have there. Square-Enix (the people who make FF's) have said the very earliest it will be out in North America and Europe is after April of 2010, and depending on when it is released in Japan may not be out until after April of 2011. Hopefully it's like all other FF's and worth the wait though.

I've read a lot of a reviews about this game and would like to give my opinion of it. In a lot of reviews people complain about the linear storyline. While the story is linear at first, it's not a bad thing. It allows you to focus on what needs to get done while taking all the tutorials. Once you reach a certain point in the story, it does open up to where you can wander, change your party members, etc. Another complaint I've read is about the battle system. I have played almost all the other Final Fantasy games and have no complaints with this one. You will press X a lot in the beginning, but once you reach a certain point and you can switch job codes, there is more to it. Depending on the enemy, you may need to switch your paradigms and thus your roles. So there are options during battles. "Leveling up" is done with the Crystarium, similar to Final Fantasy X's sphere grid. It's pretty easy to understand if you take the tutorial. You can level up your character's different paradigm roles as you go along. Other than that, this game has quickly become my favorite. I have 7 hours of gameplay so far and plan on playing it right after work. No complaints from me. Hope this helps some people.

Final Fantasy XIII really is a fun game to play. It will give you many hours of play. As you play you become fast at changing the paradigm shift. This new way of fighting is fun. I appreciate that your character's power is replenished once the battle is over. If you are a FF fan this will be well worth your while.

Yes Final Fantasy XIII is here and its about time Ive been waiting for this title for like three years. Im not trying to kill Xbox 360 players buzz but if you want to buy this game play it on the system it was meant to be played on and not the one it was ported to.....but either way this game is going to be EPIC....and then there going to hit us with a FInal Fantasy Versus XIII....

Since I am a Final Fantasy big fan, I can not miss this one. And I am going to play Final Fantasy XIII-2.

I had a hard time getting used to playing this game, but with the help of the strategy guide i was able to pick it up fairly easy afterwards. It does have some very nice graphics and it is one of the best looking games of all time.

"Final Fantasy XIII" is a very fun game, but it gets repetitive with same waves of monster parties and the lack of towns. The monotony is only broken up by CG movie of despair. Nonetheless, the story is pretty interested with a few great twists and the customization of the characters and their weapons are deep.

I thought the game was amazing. The new battle system is awesome. This game really forces you to fight with every character which is awesome, so none of your characters really get the sidelines and they are all forced to be leveled up, so you're not screwed later in the game when you need that character.

I'm about half way to 3/4 through this game, (with 30+ hours so far), and it has been really fun. I would say the intended audience might be at least middle school or junior high. Even though the story is great, the characters and plotline doesn't seem to be directed to the younger crowd.

I was really looking forward to a Final Fantasy game on the PS3, this one doesn't disappoint in graphics and sound but in the first few hours I only had a few fights and it was all cut scenes (which means you put down the controller and watch)

Great game, wonderful story and characters. Getting into the meat of the game shows great diversity for play options. Really is the hardest Final Fantasy to date and should not be tackled by beginners for the genre.

Great game but the battle system takes some time to get used to replay value is in question along with the storyline apparently there are some strange lines . and you get to sign up for final fantasy xiv beta for ps3 and get an in game item for final fantasy xiv .

I got this as a christmas gift. My daughter was very excited and has gotton alot of playing time out of it and has been challenged. It is a game that involves fighting which I wasn't sure I was happy about but the graphics are beautiful and she loves it!!

Final Fantasy XIII is great on playstation 3 and the game is amazing. I cannot complain about it at all and highly recommend this to anyone who likes RPGs. The game is worth every penny and every Final Fantasy has a great length of gameplay. 2 thumbs up!!

I started playing the Final Fantasy series with FF7 and every since then, Square Enix has yet cease to amaze me... except FF X 2 and FF XI. I can not wait until the release of FF13 and FF verses 13. That is the only reason why I will buy a PS3

I bought this game 5 days ago and have been playing it everyday! i have not finished the game yet but am very impressed on the graphics. I have only played a few of the final fantasy games, and these one is worth buying.

This is THE game to own for the Playstation 3. I've been waiting for this game for awhile now and I am not disappointed at all. Pre-bought this game at BestBuy to guarantee I'd have it arrive for the day of release.

Final Fantasy XIII is an in-depth, challenging, entertaining game that delivers. Graphics and Sound are simply amazing. You will have your breath taken away at some of the photogenic backrounds and character detail. Character developement is great each with a personal story that contributes to one another and the overall story. The battle system is fast paced with lots of strategy to master the "Paradigm Shift". If you enjoyed FFX this is the game for you. Many people seem to love or hate this game. Haters cannot stand the linearity of the story and leveling up. But I find it a nice change of pace that was different from the previous FF. Lack of towns, NPCs, true, while I to did miss, it's traded for a lot more in my opinion.
