It is definitely for everyone, just like every Kojima game, but it is a different kind of Metal Gear and very fun to play and develop your abilities and squad. Great bang for your buck!

The only bad thing I could think of is that the story takes more of backseat compared to other Metal Gear games, what you get instead is the best gameplay in the stealth genre.

great gameplay and story, just that the story was not presented right. It was too cut up and too many tapes you have to listen in the game and they cut out the last mission 51.

I've played every single game in the MG/MGS series and this was by far the worst one. The game is an extreme grindfest. Meaning for 50 missions, you're doing the same thing over and over again. Go here and rescue a hostage. Go there and kill the general. Rinse and repeat. It doesn't help that all the set pieces look the same and you'll actually be revisiting the same set pieces throughout the game. Bosses are recycled throughout the game as well. It felt like a complete chore to finish this game. I'm forcing myself to beat the game and am hoping it'll be over soon. All the other MGS games were a blast and the stories really kept you into the game. This game, is a complete struggle to finish. It's like being in a giant pizza eating competition and you're struggling and forcing yourself to finish the last couple of slices. The multiplayer aspect is pretty fun though.

Although I prefer the linear metal gear style of playing, the open world was great. Hideo kojimas greatest game so far and puts the end to the metal gear solid story.

Great game with a lot of gameplay (somewhat repetitive), but the ending just kind of happens without any real resolution or tie in to other MGS games.

This game is fun, if you like Metal Gear. I don't see where it's the best action game ever however, like I've read in a few places. The open world is great, and the stealth gameplay is fun. The story is as convoluted and cheesy as ever, but with Metal Gear it's the gameplay you want.

Beautiful cinematography, creative gameplay and immersive storyline. Great game. Haven't even tried multiplayer yet but I hear it's just as good.

Metal Gear games are always great, and this game is no exception. While I do mot recommend this game for younger players due to the subject matter amd difficulty, the game is both fun and addictive, keeping you entertained over long periods of time. The second half is not nearly as good as the first, but MGSV is a great game for the now low price point.

The gameplay was phenomenal, but there's not enough story to make you care about the characters. Quiet as a character seems to be in the game only to sell units and toys, not to add anything. It's almost creepy. Great game, but just needed more cutscenes for me to care.

By far this is the best Metal Gear game to play. Story wise it is a bit disappointing. You can tell a good chunk was cut out of the game and right when the game gets really really good, it just ends. It could of been one of the best games made of all time.

This game by far exceeded my expectations. Bothe the main story and multyplayer are awesome and super fun. BUY THIS GAME!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this game; picked it up when it was on sale with GCU over BF. Well worth the $25 I paid for it.

Gameplay wise MGSV was fun. The story is where it lags. The plot wasn't very interesting and Big Boss wasn't that interesting of a protagonist. Graphically it looks amazing and being able to tackle every mission your way is good fun.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a game that rewards creativity and intelligence in a way few others do.

The missing link of the story. This game is a must purchase for those invested in the metal gear franchise.
