Best metal gear to date.. Had this pre ordered months before

One of the best of the year. Awesome entry into the series.

I have not played any of the MSG games before this and I was skeptical whether I will feel lost. But nothing like that happened, I am enjoying this to the fullest, reward system in the game is very good and each mission can be executed in many different ways depending on your linking. It does give you variety and I would recommend it fully.

I enjoyed the previous games and this one is even bigger!

This is not only the best Metal Gear Solid game, but, has to be the game of the year. I can't find anything about this game that wasn't great, maybe I wish it was even longer, but that's probably it. You've read the online reviews. You've heard the hype. It's real, it's a must have, just buy it, you'll see why. Perfect game!

Great game! I love the open world aspect to MGS 5.

Metal Gear solid is mt favorite gaming series of all time. Had huge expectations for this game. Gameplay is great along with the mechanics. Open world exploration but no secrets in the world. The story is pretty much nonexistent which is a first for Metal Gear. Great for new commers to the series but veterans will be left wanting more.

Ive played only 2 metal gears before this game (PW and MGS4) and I have to say MGSV's story is more silliest of the two. But MGS games are alot more renown for there awesome gameplay and I think they hit it out of the park for this game, so many things to do that you could play the whole game twice and still not know about an awesome feature. The first quarterish of the game is really amazing but slows down after that, it can get pretty boring reaching the middlish-ending but overall this game is just so good to pass up definitely worth playing. 9/10 Best and worst MGS game I've played.

In a lot of ways this part of mgs doesn't feel like a mgs game. At times it does. The world is massive to roam around freely except when you start a mission. When in a mission you are boarder within a zone. You have allies that'll aid you on your missions if you choose to. You can also play as other people that you have recruited. You can call in supplies, reinforcement, vehicles, etc. Whenever you need to. The game does change depends on how you play. To many night mission and your enemies will start using night vision. To many head shots and they'll wear helmets. You do have teams you can send out on missions to stop supplies to the enemies. Or to recruit new members, gather supplies, etc. Still worth a buy to play through if you been playing the series. But, eventually you might get bored of the process the game operates of repeating the same thing over and over. And I do realize games do that, but it's how they manage to make the game fun and interesting. I find myself getting bored after awhile and stop playing for awhile.

Hats off to Kojima. Whether or not this is the best title in the series doesn't matter. There's more substance in a single MGS title than there is in many of the series of the current triple A titles. A perfect blend classic Kojima and next/current gen capability.

And I think is because it came out for 360 and ps3 too, it would be better graphics textures . I dont see that soft skin textures but is ok I like the game , I just starting to playn the prologue of the game, and I really like.

Bought this game on Day 1 and still only 33% complete. Granted having a family and full-time job limit my gaming time but this has been such a blast playing, and the side ops missions can extend out the game significantly.

this is the type of game i like for shooting. Can go in guns blazing or you can snipe from a hill top(sniping is my favorite). The fact that you can capture not kill almost everything is also a fun twist on a shooter.

Some of the best gameplay and graphics I've ever witnessed on console. Some didn't like the story, but I loved it!

MGS V Phantom Pain is probably the last MGS that Hideo Kojima will make with Konami, and it may be the last MGS game, period. I can't think of a better or more polished sendoff to the series. All the MGS staples are here, larger-than-life characters, memorable boss battles and a story that will leave you scratching your head. If there is one think I miss though, it's David Hayter's excellent voice casting as Snake. That's one replacement Kojima really did not need to make.

Game is awesome and the graphics are phenomenal. CAnt put the game down.

You can tell this is the conclusive work that Kojima has put in this game for the series, this will be his last Metal Gear game. What an end to a visionary. Thank you Hideo Kojima and your spectacular team.
