Same great humor as other Mario RPGs and a fun story and gameplay. I don't like how the stickers deplete after use and that I can't keep them, though.

I can never find Mario games at a "sale" price, so I was happy to buy a used game. The game is a little difficult, but fun.

It's been a long time since I played a Mario game and this one definitely brings back fond memories. It did take me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to get Excellent on hammer attacks, so I would've liked a little more instruction on how to use the basic attacks at the beginning. Overall, though, I really liked it. :)

Paper Mario is a turn based RPG that is a lot more challenging than the usual Mario games, but in a very refreshing way. There is no "point A to point B" gaming going on, there is lots of back and forth, finding things in one level to use in the next type of gameplay.

I wasn't sure about buying this because I didn't know if it came with the box but was very happy with the price and what I got. The game is very fun, not the best in the series but great none the less. It's a fun game to play but I don't think it will have to much replay value but for the price, I'm not complaining.

Great game, packaged well and worked great right out of box. Not a huge selection of games at all.

Although the story isn't as good as previous Paper Mario titles, it retains many fun features giving you dozens of hours of playtime!

This game is fun but time consuming. It is kind of annoying that you can only save at certain points of the game.

Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door are two of the best Mario games ever created. The Thousand Year Door is actually my favorite game of all time. Both games featured a great story with fantastic writing, gorgeous scenery, and an excellent battle system. Super Paper Mario was pretty good, but it didn't bring back the fond memories I had of the previous RPGs. If you enjoyed any of the three previous Paper Mario games, steer away from this one.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star presents itself like the two original games: a 3D landscape where Mario can roam around fighting enemies to progress through the game. In this game, the central focus is stickers, which can be obtained through normal gameplay. However, stickers are your ONLY method of fighting and progressing through the game. You have to use multiple stickers at a time to defeat enemies, and it's all a waste! Lack of an leveling system means you are completely reliant on stickers, and fighting random enemies serves no purpose besides wasting stickers. The rewards you obtain are coins or a sticker or two. In fact, most enemies can be completely avoided! The only battles you should be in are the ones that are part of the story! At several points in the game, you are required to have a certain sticker to progress further. However, the game makes no mention of this beforehand, and you could have already used that sticker already, meaning you have to go all the way back to the beginning of the area (or even a different area all together!) to get another.
The story itself is incredibly weak. Lack of partners constant partners in Super Paper Mario was disappointing, however switching between the four characters kept things interesting. Sticker Star has no partners, and you only play as Mario. The charm is gone. And as stated previously, at several points in the game you need certain stickers to progress when you could have used them long ago. Forcing you to backtrack without prior mention of why you need to is very irritating.
In terms of presentation, the game looks great. The environments actually look like paper and stickers are noticeable and easily obtained. The music and sound effects are also pretty good. Battle animations are stellar, almost making you want to use stickers (which you shouldn't outside of necessary sections).
Sticker Star is a fine game in its own right. It looks great, works well, and could be a good game to get people into Paper Mario. But Paper Mario fans should stay away. The game is completely different from the Paper Mario we once knew, and not in a way that would make you excited. All RPG mechanics have been thrown out the window for a simpler, dumbed-down game. It's a great game for kids and those who haven't play a Paper Mario game before, but for those who have, prepare to be disappointed.

This game was a huge disappointment for me and will be for you as well if you a fan of the Paper Mario franchise and were looking for the next great Nintendo RPG. The gameplay certainly looks like a Paper Mario game, but that is all on the surface. The mechanics of the game are very different. There is no character progression.
Gathering stickers and using them for the same attacks over and over gets very boring very quickly. Without progression or power ups to find, everything feels stale, like playing the first level of a game over and over but with only slight variations and no sense of accomplishment. I couldn't even finish this game.
If you are coming to this game without having played any of the Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi RPGs, you may like it.

Really disappointing game. It takes everything good about the Paper Mario games and makes a bad game. Pass on it.
