This game is exactly like every other Koei warriors game, just with the ability to create custom characters, which if you've played any of the Empire expansions, should come as no surprise. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for it. If you don't have a friend to enjoy the game with, or weeks of free time, you'll tire of the game very fast. The storyline is unimportant to the game itself, as you can really create your own story in how you decide to wage war against the other territories. If you aren't an enormous fan of the series, don't get this game. You'll tire of it fast, and will get more or less frustrated with how slow the game moves at times. The game is from 2007, and it definitely shows it. The graphics are choppy and while that doesn't mean anything to gameplay, the animations during cutscenes can draw away from the game at times.
