Pretty scary, plays very similar to other silent hills if you are familiar with them

this game is worth playing if your a big fan of the series but there are some drawback's in the game play like you can easily get lost and not know were you are supposed to go next and there is way too much backtracking if you are trying to do all of the side quest's as well as some troublesome bug's/glitches were it might freeze or weapons/ items you need to progress the story might not show up were they are supposed to be in the game itself so you might play it safe and always keep a save file that starts before doing some of the quest or you might find yourself in a situation were you have to start over otherwise it is not a bad game if you get it for a reasonable price

Silent Hill has had great games that are complete horror and chilling at every move. This game isn't as chilling as those but this game is good .. must has if your a fan of the series

I have been a fan of Silent Hill since it's beginnings, so I always wanted to see how Downpour would be like. Turns out it was well worth it! If you like horror, give it a shot!

This game is overall good but the occasional lag can be annoying, still worth checking it out

This is a fun horror type game, that inspired the movie. It is not too challenging.

The Silent Hill series is always known for its psychological horror and ability to create a lonely and moody atmosphere. That is no exception with Silent Hill Downpour, and with the addition of semi open world exploration and a much smoother combat system, this is easily my favorite game in the series (and the only one that I enjoyed enough to endure multiple playthroughs for the platinum trophy). There is one huge caveat, however. Technically, this game is a mess, with frequent framerate drops and screen tearing. If you can somehow look past this, though, you are in for an excellent story.
