From the breakable glass that pours in sand from the outside, the sudden onset of enemies making you feel helpless and surrounded, and a few inconvenience of sand storms gives it that much needed real feeling. The choices you make affect the story (should you kill this guy, listen to one squad member over the other, etc.)The game was fun, not perfect but I'm glad I picked it up. Sometime the enemy AI can be unfair (I restarted a level 13 times from stupid deaths) but other than that it works. The main character is voiced by Nolan North so of course it reminds me of Nathan Drake the character, but that's a good thing. You get a small assortment of guns but its okay, it isn't meant to have 30 + guns like some games. If you like a nice , fun weekend game then I would say it is a rent for sure.

a really fun 3rd person shooter, I really like the way you can shoot out the windows etc and use the sand to your advantage. I am only about half way through but the story is great and would make a great movie. Super fun.

The game arrived very quickly and is so far pretty fun. I have only played about 30 minutes so far but I really have enjoyed it. The game looks great, parents keep in mind there is a lot of harsh language and a decent amount of blood when you kill enemies. It is a war game after all. But for 9.99, i bought it used it was well worth it.

This is a good shooter but not quite up to the standard set by COD:MW or MW2.

Very underrated game! Had so much fun running through the campaign! A must have game!

Spec Ops: The Line is a storytelling and gaming masterpiece. The gameplay is phenomenal and the story is engaging and extremely interesting. If you want a game that is fun, gripping, and intense, definitely check out Spec Ops: The Line.
