This is one of the best games of all time in gameplay, story and value. This PS4 version is really better visually than the PS3 version. I've also noticed rarely a glitch.

I have never played any of the previous Elder Scrolls games, yet this complete version of Skyrim at $30 seemed like it was worth the gamble. It was, as it is a huge world game that will take you 100's of hour to find everything. If you can find the strategy guide released last year I would recommend it, as there really isn't much tutorial in this game, especially trying to figure out smithing, alchemy and enchantment. Worth buying.

I had this game on Xbox 360 and didn't get to finish it before I upgraded consoles. I'm glad I can play this on PS4 and start it again because this is one of the best games I've ever played and no I get to complete it.

For years I've heard about Skyrim but never had a powerful enough console to support it. Now that I've played it, I can say that it lives up to expectations. A lot of things are going on here and the detail is amazing!

As solid a game as it ever was. I don't have a ps4 pro or a 4k tv, so I can't completely weigh in on the revamped graphic, but the increase in fov and draw distance really enhances previously jaw - dropping landscape views. The additional foliage and ground cover are quite noticeable at times. The big draw, at least for myself, was having mod access on a console. You can't use every mod out there, only what's been tested and approved by Bethesda, which I believe would be the list of mods available through the workshop on pc.

Having played Skyrim on XBox 360, I had hoped for a remastered edition for my PS4 for quite some time. Glad they finally came through. The updated graphics are great, though I am rather disappointed they didn't update the characters' faces. They still look terrible, like poorly molded plastic. Closing on 100 hours of play, and the game has run almost flawlessly. I've encountered very few bugs, other than a couple quirky quests and some minor animation glitches. Still one of the most entertaining games I've played.

Open World RPG Classic

Skyrim is an open world RPG classic at this point. It's aged... in some areas worse than others but still remains a very good game. Not much else like this game exists either, which is a shame seeing how the game came out so long ago. The addition of mods on consoles in this version makes it a worthy remaster and is a great reason for console gamers to pick it up again.

Skyrim is a classic adventure RPG and is revitalized on the latest generation systems. The graphics and sound are improved, it includes all of the DLC, and mods are supported. The PS4 version has some included support for the PS4 Pro and the XBox One version has more mods because new assets are permitted. Because of that, if you own both systems, you have a choice to make. If you enjoyed Skyrim before or you haven't experienced it, this is a classic to revisit or dive into with fresh eyes and ears.

Skyrim Special Edition is a beautiful remaster of an already great game. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and it plays exactly like the old game. I love that it comes with all of the DLC (considering i never purchased anything outside of Dawnguard) and my favorite part is the Mod support. My favorite part of the old PC version was the mods, and adding it to the remastered PS4 version is amazingly fun!
Overall, i highly recommend getting this whether you're an old fan, or someone new to the game!

Already had this on the PS3 but had to get it once I got the PS4 too. Quite simply a near perfect game on the next gen console. Better visuals, less load time and all around a step up from PS3 version

I have been a fan of the Elder Scrolls franchise since the first game god knows how many years ago. When Skyrim first came out, I bought it for the PS3. I played it for probably 2 months straight and the random quests make sure you always have something to do. It does get a little boring once you have a maxed character and have beat the main quest lines, but still enjoyable. After that, you just create a new character and play as a different race with different abilities. My daughter, now 10, has loved this game since she was probably 5 or 6. I got her a PS4 for Christmas and she was thrilled to see Skyrim as part of her gifts. She has been playing it for 3 days straight.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remasters very well, the graphics along with the gameplay is phenomenal. I've easily put in 300+ hours into the game if I combined my hours I had on PS3.

This game has been around for 8 years and people are still playing. Great role playing game with lots of mods to add to keep it interesting after hundreds of hours you can put in.

I put 200 hours into Skyrim on Xbox 360...but this remaster is well worth stepping back in for. The immersion is off the charts with the increased textures and performance improvements alone. Yes, the melee is still a little clunky and the NPCs are still somewhat wooden...but that just doesn't matter much when you have this much freedom to play your way. The joy of simply wandering is as strong as ever. I've dabbled with the mods and they indeed work; I intend to mess around with that later (because using mods disables trophies, which is understandable since some make you overpowered.). Go ahead, it's Skyrim, you know you want to!

Major selling points:
* Includes all three DLCs which, for somebody who has played the original but not the DLC, made this a great value.
* Graphics look AMAZING.
* Load times are substantially reduced. This is the big one for me. On PS3, the loading screens were an absolute killer, and made the game feel unplayable at times. No longer. Most loading screens are under 10 seconds, and none are longer than 30 seconds.

Favorite game on ps4 now, I've been playing elder scrolls since Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind.
If you like action, adventure, fantasy, RPG then you'll love this game, it's awesome and fun, and with the graphics being updated it looks amazing. Also for us none "PC master race" players, we can now enjoy mods.
It's an awesome game, it's kinda like the Lord Of The Rings/Game Of Thrones version of Fallout games.

Skyrim is absolutely one of my all time favorite games. The PS3 game has held up great over the years but it was looking aged compared to some of the new games. The Remastered addition has upped the graphics a bit which give you a vivid and immersive game display. Also load times and bugs are mostly gone which helps keep you in the action. No doubt this is a great game and the remaster is a must!
