I did not play this game originally. But, when the remastered addition came out I got it. It is a huge open world game. It offers more open-ended story play than Dragon Age Inquisition, but less flexibility in character crafting. Also, since they are similar games and I loved DAI, I feel like the color pallet for Skyrim is more grayish and muted than Dragon Age - or Witcher 3. It sometimes feels like there are so many directions one can take that you might feel lost. I suppose the more you play the less you feel that way. We'll see... Overall worth the money though. It will provide something to do for countless hours.

Despite already having beat Skyrim plenty of times on the PS3, playing it on the PS4 with enhanced graphics is still as enjoyable. The fact that it includes every DLC adds more than enough contents that will keep us stuck on the game for years to come. Sure the mod support is very limited because of SONY but even with what we have we can still have a nice time in the land of Skyrim.

I loved the first game on the ps3. I never finished everything in the game, which is why I bought this one. It was a very good remaster.

Considering the fact that consoles do not have access to mods, this remaster is a welcome upgrade from the original. It's obvious a lot of attention was paid to details to improve from the original. The addition of mods was a welcome change, however limited it may be on the PS4. If you haven't played skyrim at all, this is the best quality you'd ever play skyrim with.

I bought the PSVR bundle version back in 2017. While you can't beat the outstanding immersive quality of the VR game, I could not deal with the drifting heads-up display issue. So I bought this non-vr version to finish the game. It still looks amazing and even has mod support.

Love this game great story, the size of the game world is enormous and my husband loves how much there is to explore. The graphics are awesome and look lifelike. The game plays well and He has not run into an freezing issues where as in other games you can see the little skip as it goes from screen to screen. The action gets pretty intense with the magic and armor.

I got this for my brother for Christmas. I have played it on the Xbox 360 and I felt even though the game has some bugs and flaws is still one of the best games EVER! You just have to save often and in multiple files. I am hoping the bugs got fixed on the console upgrade. If not I probably would still buy it for myself whenever I can afford a new next gen console.

Have this game for the PS3, but wanted to have it for the better graphics offered on the PS4. A really good game, love how it begins.

Played the original for almost 100 hours and have had this version for a little while. Graphically it is amazing! Gameplay is good and the story and side quests provide hours of entertainment. If you haven't played Skyrim, just do it, but be prepared to have no life until you complete (at the very least) the main quest. Fun to play and difficult to put down

Skyrim remastered is still a fun game to play. The graphics are good. There are glitches from time to time, but its still a great open wolrd game to play.

This updated version of Skyrim allows players like me to revisit it. It is absolutely beautiful and fun to play. I’ve finished this game multiple times on previous systems but went right back for this updated version for another play through. I absolutely love it and can’t wait for 6

It's impossible to be able to get anything else done during the day. This game will own your life! I can't stop playing it.

game includes all DLC as well as improved graphics versions of the games in the elder scrolls skyrim V series. great value

I bought this as a gift for a friend that was looking to get into rpgs. It has so much to do and you get the extra dlcs.

I put a lot of hours into Skyrim on my Xbox 360, and can see myself putting even more into this improved version for PS4.

Focusing on the pros and cons of the PS4 version in particular, the game holds up and is an unmatched sandbox experience but it is probably the worst way to play it on comparable machines (Xbox, pc). This game is so much more interesting with mods that can use outside assets and you can only access those on Xbox and pc. If you can play it on those, don’t buy it on PS4. But if you have no such options, it’s a solid experience with tame mods available.

I probably have 300 hours into this game and that nothing compared to a lot of people. A must have for the RPG gamer

Ive always been a FPS guy and playing this has let me branch out into anything else RPG like. Its a 10/10 for me!

This was the best game on Xbox 360 5 years ago. They remastered it to allow people to play it on the new consoles. Can't beat the content in this game for the $25 that Best Buy charged on Black Friday. This game is so huge and full of content that you will lose about 100 hours just wondering around. Amazing game.
