If you like guitar hero type games and ff music this one is for you. That pretty much sums up the game play. The soundtracks are awesome and if your a FF fan you already know what im talking a bout. If you have never played a FF game you will not be let down by the music. FF is known for its great soundtracks. The game is relatively cheap used pick it up. One downside of grabbing them online is you never know if you will get the original case. I did not and was a little disappointed but I knew there was a chance of this when I ordered it.

The gameplay is easy to learn. I haven't even attempted to play a rhythm game since the original PS, so I didn't know how the stylus would be incorporated. Basically, there are three simple moves and all the action happens with the stylus with is really cool. This might be the way most handheld rhythm games work, but I don't know. The bottom line is, Squeenix knows that the FF fanbase is not necessarily going to be familiar with rhythm games and has designed the controls with that in mind. There are also various difficulty levels to appease some players who are more comfortable with rhythm games. As a rhythm game noob, I found the Expert mode to be nearly impossible...maybe it'll get easier as I have more practice.

The only music rythm game i own and i love it. Absolutely fantastic music . Cant really watch the battle scenes and play at the same time.

If you're even the slightest fan of Final Fantasy, you will enjoy playing along to the classic music that FF has offered throughout it's franchise!

Essentially, if you're a fan of music/rhythm games AND Final Fantays, you will thoroughly enjoy this title. Unlike some other games, like Project Diva/Mirai, you use primarily the touch screen. Definitely a different feel, but works well for the most part.

I think I loved this game so much from the nostalgia point of view. It is a tap and slide music game, but since it was a Final Fantasy game I just had to have it! I've been playing Final Fantasy since it landed in the US in the late 80s. Can't wait for "Curtain Call" coming out late '14. Has some street pass and co-op capabilities to it.

There's a newer version of this game that's better, but that doesn't mean this game is bad, far from it, and everyone should check it out if they want a fun little game for their 3DS. (And you don't need to care about FF...I don't.)

Bring back so many old memories!! Personally, I am not that good at rhythm games, however, I really enjoyed it. Lovely artwork as well. Recommend to FF fans.

If you've played Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan the mechanics work exactly the same; tap, swipe, drag. All of this is set to some of the best Final Fantasy tracks and while initially fun the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Unless you're a huge FF geek wait for sale pick it up (used would be even better).

I wish this one had better sales. AMazing game with 200 plus song on the go. You can buy more songs too. The quests and online vs made this game much better than the original wich was good, but forgetable. This one is a classic.

My child just LOVES the final fantasy franchise so she was excited to see this game online and I was happy to find it pre-owned for a great price. I can't wait to see her face when I give her this game!
