Good game with descent first person action - different story line - and can't beat the sales price from Best Buy.

If you love stealth games you will love this,one of the best I have played

big enough map, lots of houses to go through, easy gameplay but can be challenging when trying to complete 100%.

The game is not too bad on the gameplay mechanics side of things. It has a fairly engaging storyline but kind of drags at points. The problem is that the action parts of the game are weak as this game requires full stealth. So if you like stealth games is a good addition to get, maybe not $60 good.

It's fun to sneak around and put your own strategy on how to get threw without being detected

Thief is an EXCELLENT game. Awesome graphics. Great gameplay and story. Have several days of gameplay in and still have not finished the story. Many collectibles, will have great replay value. Definitely buy!

The game was a great investment. The 1080p on the PS4 really shows its stuff when playing this game. In the game it gives you a vast amount of side quests to go along with the main story. After completing all of the quests, exploring the city, and finishing the story the game had lasted me 19 hours (a decent amount of time considering most modern games' story only last around 8-10). The story was good but not spectacular. Most of the fun comes from exploring and discovering new things. There are multiple play styles that you can use as well giving it some replay value if you want to try again in a different way. If you like stealth games, this is the game for you. The fourth game in the Thief series really delivers!

I had fun playing through this game though by the end it became repetitive

For mostly being a gamer who prefers shooters I still like to try different interesting games such as this one sure combat and gunplay ain't the main focus, its a stealth game where you choose your own tactics, altering the environment to your benefit, multiple tools at your disposal to get the job done in a variety of ways and choosing what path you choose to infiltrate such as a bank, for example you can try and take out every guard or finish the heist without ever being seen to me it took a little while to get used to but once you get into it Its fun to stalk the streets or rooftops to find my next big score. Stick to the shadows

Really enjoying this game, it is kind of like a first person Assassins Creed (yes I know Thief came first), except that it forces you to sneak aroud all the time rather than just being able to blitz everyone. The graphics are good and it feels more like a PC game than a console game. Love all the Steampunk stylings in the game. It has a lot of story and is definately not for impatient gamers who want to run through levels and beat the game quickly, you have to search everywhere to find the important items. Also like that it has puzzles and riddles to solve. Game dialogue is a bit graphic and vulgar so not for the kiddies.

Thief turned out to be quite a good game. There are some truly unique elements to be found. And some tense moments as well (the hospital level). Pity the graphics are worse than that of XBOX 360 (Dishonored is often compared because of the look & feel, but Dishonored on the 360 had better graphics). And there are several times the frame rates drop badly (especially on some of the cut scenes). If it was created exclusively for next gen (or is it Now Gen), it would have been properly optimized. But, looking past this (which is pretty easy since it really is a fun game), Thief is a very entertaining game...

If you enjoy sneaking around, not being able to engage in combat, moving slowly, and just looking at stuff and stealing for hours, this is the game for you. That may not be a fair description, but it's how you're gonna feel about the game after a few hours.

This game reminds me almost of the original. The stealth and side missions are great but the main storyline is under par. If you go into this game wanting to perform great stealth missions, this is your game.

I'm a huge fan of Square Enix and they didn't disappoint on this title. I recall playing Thief on the PC ages ago, so picking this item up was a no-brainer. The graphics are wonderful and the story is good.

More sneaking around than a full action type game.

i really enjoyed thief.the stealth action is challenging and fun. the graphics are stunning on my ps4. my only complaint are the maps,sometimes confusing to navigate. overall worth the money.

If you play this game the way it was meant to be played, using stealth and patience, it's a fun and rewarding game. Some of the darker corners of the city kept me on edge, and surprised me. I recommend turning off most of the help features, like the lock pick symbols, highlighting of key objects and paths, etc. PS4 players should consider turning off the light gem, relying solely on the light bar feature of the controller. Pretty cool. If you decide to play this game run and gun style, relying too much on combat to get through situations, you will be disappointed. At it's core, it's a finess game. Go for the no detection bonuses if you want a real challenge.
