The game can start off a little slow but it turns into a great game. If im honest its more of an interactive story vs a true video game. The choices you make affect the outcome of the game and are permanent. This does make the replay ability decent to see all outcomes.
Crazy graphics just like you in a movie so realist

Until Dawn is a fun game for a little while. It's basically like a choose your own adventure book but in video game format and horror based instead of action/adventure. About halfway through it and the story is great but the gameplay is a little stale for my taste. Much better when played at night with all the lights off!

Until Dawn is an interactive, story based horror adventure game. The narrative is well written and is inspired by the 80's and 90's "slasher" horror films (Friday the 13th, Halloween, Saw) as well as supernatural horror. From the beginning, the characters and the setting are intentionally stereotypical: A group of upper/middle class teenagers in an isolated region of the country side. Even the character archetypes are all reminiscent of the typical horror flicks that are released around October: The jock, the clown, the arrogant cheerleader, the attractive 'nerdy' girl, the token minority, etc.. The setting for the story is designed in such a way to induce a constant feeling of isolation in the player. Add to this the excellent ambient sound quality plus the top-notch graphics (even by the standards of a PC gamer), and you have for yourself one atmospheric and engaging adventure game.

If you love old school horror movies, then this is the game for you! A game full of QTEs that will shape itself based on decisions you make (or don't make). The characters are interesting and engaging, and the story has a few twists and turns of its own. Great buy!

Great graphics and unique story. As far as playable movie video games this one is definitely the best. Your choices actually make a difference and I was legitimately mad when I got a couple characters killed due to my choices. Must buy for all PS4 users.

Until Dawn features 8 protagonists that return to a ski lodge on a mountain in western Canada after a tragic event that occurred the year before. As you play Until Dawn you will "open doors to the future", changing the story as it goes. Unlike most games, Until Dawn has collectibles that ONLY pertain to the storyline, giving YOU, as the player, more experience out of the game, and learning everything about the main plot as well as the background plot. The game gets a little gory as you progress through the game, and has quite a bit of jump scares (in addition with the music stings), however none of these should keep you from playing on.
I picked up one of the last copies at my local Best Buy during a huge sale they had, and I was completely blown away. Interactive games weren't originally my cup of tea, but after finishing my first playthrough, I had no choice but to go back and replay the game, for a different ending, along with picking up collectibles I had missed in my previous playthrough. One thing that may bother you, is the inability to skip cutscenes when replaying the game or a specific chapter.

Until Dawn feels like a great story that plays as a game. There isn't tons of action, so if your looking for that then this may not be the best choice. However, if you are looking for an edge of your seat thriller, then I would highly recommend this game.

Until Dawn is a QuickTime heavy exploration game in the vane of Heavy Rain and the Telltale series. By streamlining the systems and offering an entertaining take on horror troupes, it ultimately becomes an extremely entertaining 10-12 horror roller coaster.

This is more of an interactive story game with a lot of quick time events that affects the later part of the story and gameplay as you progress. The story itself is good and there are lot of outcomes for the choices the player makes. It has decent replay value but I wouldn't pay full price for this (got it on sale).

This game was really a lot of fun. Some of the dialog wasn't that great, but it was a great playthrough. A lot of jump scares throughout, especially midway through. Would definitely recommend for 1 play through and won't have much replayability after that unless you try to collect everything or get a different ending.

The butterfly effect is tremendous in this game. If you liked Heavy Rain than you will LOVE this game. I have played it over and over because each time I play I can change the entire outcome of the game. Hope they make a part two sooner rather than later.

This game gave what it promised. As the player, your choices determine the game's outcome, including which characters survive. The game was great at capturing intensity and fear. It has replay value as well, since difference choices can change the game.

Until Dawn is a fun and interactive 80's style thriller/horror adventure game. The Butterfly Effect is pretty unique and adds replayability, as your choices produce different outcomes later on. The graphics are pretty dang good, runs at full 1080p at 30 frames per second and the voice acting is good as well.

From start to finish this game grips you. Choose your decisions and paths wisely because every choice seems like it matters. Who will die? Who will live? This game is worth way more than the $15 I paid for it and I love the replay value of it.

This game is reminiscent of Heavy Rain or a TellTale game. Gameplay consist of finding clues, making choices, and QTE. Depending on the choices a player makes, the game has multiple ending. If you love classic horror film tropes, this game is for you.

Until Dawn is something I wasn't expecting to fall for. I truly believe that It was a been there done that type of game. Well without a doubt I was wrong. Until Dawn is one of the most scariest games ever to come to the ps4. You play as eight young survivors and everything you do can either lose or save their lives. This game can go in so many different directions that you will want to think twice about your actions. One slip up can lead to one of the survivors unfortunate fall. Until Dawn is fully recommended in my book to anyone who loves choice and consequences.
