Until Dawn has a horrible script. It's characters are unlikeable. It's not scary in the slightest. It's gameplay would be regarded by most as substandard, and it's use of traditional analog control with fixed camera angles makes for a really frustrating gameplay experience. But why do I want to keep playing? Despite abysmal dialogue and horrid characterization, there's something incredibly engaging about the feel of the game. The atmosphere is so well done, the plot leaves you with intrigue. But the thing that keeps you playing is seeing the consequences that come with your choices and the mind games you play with yourself when they are presented to you. I'm currently on my third playthrough and show no signs of slowing down. Definitely worth playing.

This game is a must buy exclusive. The atmosphere is chilling, the plot entertaining as a cheesy movie can be, and the gameplay is enough to keep you from getting bored.

Replay ability, great graphics, decent albeit predictable to a point story line, yet great fun. Great voice acting and motion capture. Cool to see the actors

This game is an interactive horror movie where your choices influence the outcome of the story and the fates of each character. It is fun if you are a fan of interactive games or a fan of a good horror story.

THis game is awesome creepy and will make you jump. The replay value is good but after 3 or 4 times even tho there are many more ways it can end it does get repetitive

The game play and the story is awesome. I liked how the player writes his/her own story throughout the game. Pretty awesome game and the graphics are truly next gen.

Great game! Alternate choices and endings. Voice/character cast is great! Storyline keeps you engaged and your heart pumping! A must have for any horror game enthusiast!

This game had a lot of cliche horror elements and tons of jump scares. However, it's a refreshing video game that really knows how to put you into the scenario. I enjoyed the ride, even if it was a bit short.

This game is great at creating a chilling atmosphere, and because of the butterfly effect there can be many different way the story weaves. Really good Ps4 exclusive.

At times it looks a lot like it's original PS3 version running in 1080p, but it's still a pretty looking game, and has excellent replay value as you try to keep everyone alive. Great atmosphere, recommended.

Rather good game, graphically nice but with some stutter, enjoyed the story but this is really a one time play through game, get it on sale don't pay full price.

To be honest, this game was one of the main reasons for me to even buy a PS4. My friend's boyfriend got this game and I watched them play and thought the story line was excellent and the fact that you control the characters which then controls the story is pretty cool. Certain actions have certain consequences, and being in control of that was super fun. Even once you finish the game and know what happens, it can be different the next time you play based on the choices you make. Also, watching other people play it and seeing the actions they choose is also fun.

When you get over the somewhat cheesy characters you can really enjoy this story and its gameplay. Its wonky sometimes but I like it all the same. Great game and definitely worth getting on sale.

Great story and one of the best PS4 games from that generation, I'd recommend buying but no more than $10.

A game that I bought not knowing how good it would be. A true horror game with so many outcomes all by your choices. Say good bye to linear and say hello to branched off possibilities where no one can die or everyone can.

If you're into campy horror and Telltale style games then this is right up your alley. Nice graphics and replayability definitely makes this title worth picking up.

A very underrated survival horror game. Lots of choices for different endings.

One of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while. Marathon-played this game in a week or so. Just played to one of the endings. Could've replayed to see multiple endings but ... I'm not into that. And unless you are and earning all the trophies, it's hard to say their is replay value. I wish I could tell you how many hours I put in but I don't recall. But I played a good deal over the course of a week. I was THAT into the story. One of the best horror, suspense games since Condemned or Silent Hill (1). Really enjoyed it. Bought at $40, then sold basically for the same. So it was essentially a rental for me. It's a choose your own adventure story more than a game. But I really, really, really liked it all the same.

The best way I can describe Until Dawn in a nutshell is if TellTale graduated middle school, then graduated high school, then went off to a prestigious university and graduated with honors. Until Dawn takes the form of a TellTale game, but looks gorgeous, requires more of the player, and your choices actually affect the storyline in a big way. The characters and their relationships change throughout and depending on your final decisions, all or none of the stereotyped and wonderfully acted teen characters can die at the hands of whatever is killing them off. This is an experience worth having.

While it seems spooky and I don't like horror films. This has a great story and due to the butterfly effect of your choices it has a great replay value
