I was skeptical about purchasing this game, but after playing through it - it is amazing. You're on edge the entire time because you don't know when you might need to do a quick time event. And there's no going back. If you miss one and that's the one that kills you, you just miss out on what could have happened. You have to play through to the end to be able to start over. I played it while my boyfriend watched. We both enjoyed it.

This is a great game, it's not exactly a game where the player has a ton to do; its similar to the Walking Dead games where the player mainly makes choices and sees them play out. The graphics look amazing and give a great indication of the horsepower that can be put out by the PS4. Get this game if you enjoy horror movies or the horror genre!

I purchased this for my son-in-law, and the feedback I've got was that this game is Awesome. I watched a little of it during Christmas, and I will say that it is not for small children. There were some scenes in the game where you had to chose death for certain characters......along the lines of the movie, Saw. So, this is definitely a mature type game. But for adult gamers, I'm sure they'll find this game very entertaining.

Get this game if you are a fan of interactive movies like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. I normally don't go for thriller movies, but loved the way all the standard thriller tropes were handled here. The story is quite good with a surprise twist around the middle, and the main characters are pretty multidimensional. Overall the game does a very good job of delivering on a feeling of dread all throughout. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's interesting and delivers up some scares. However, it's more of an interactive movie than traditional game and completing it is guaranteed. It took me 3 sittings to complete it. That's my issue with the game; it's more of a gamefly rental or redbox rental than a purchase, unless you wait until it gets really cheap. It does require at least 2 full play-throughs to get the trophies if you're into that, but who really wants to sit through all that dialog and cut-scene all over again?

Until Dawn is a great homage to horror movie fans and serves those who enjoy relatively short games. Much like the TellTale games (Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead, etc.) this game can be completed in under 10 hours and offers a good amount of replayability based on all the various decisions you can make. If you're a fan of scary, decision-driven games and don't have much time this is a cheap and fun title to explore.

Saw this and immediately thought "campy horror" - and to an extent that's what it is - a bunch of high school kids caught in a slowly decaying house where you control who lives and who dies - but it actually plays really well - dark, atmospheric, and even the dialogue isn't as cheesy as I'd predicted. Overall a solid exclusive and I can see it garnering success as a "cult classic" even though it's done well for itself. Looking forward to a sequel!

In my experience, it is the quintessential horror game. This game keeps you on the edge, having you make quick decisions and exploring dark and unknown areas. It is almost as if you are in the game yourself. I recommend playing this with, of course, the lights out and your surround system up, like way up. That is if you're a gamer that loves getting lost in a video game. Trust me, you'll have the most opulent experience.
